"Did he just bark at me" was probably everyone's initial reaction to this song lmao. Gonna have to agree though, literally everything Knocked Loose is absolutely phenomenal and I highly recommend doing a deeper dive. Their album Laugh Tracks I think is where people finally started noticing them (at least that's when I did) but their 2021 EP, A Tear in the Fabric of Life, was absolutely AMAZING. The last 4 songs they've released (2 standalone singles and 2 singles for their upcoming album) have been on my daily rotation as well.
Knocked Loose doesn't miss, glad they're on your radar! Their new singles Blinding Faith and Don't Reach For Me (both from a new album dropping next month) are awesome, but then, everything they do is awesome.
Knocked Loose is taking over after their performance last year at Coachella. They were already big in the scene, but then normies started listening to them. I wish Code Orange would have had the same happen for them after playing the festival two years ago.
If you love this sound I would check out Paleface (Swiss), they’re one of the heaviest bands I’ve heard but have a similar hardcore style as Knocked Loose, and the vocals are insane. If you check them out I’d do “Please End Me”, they go so hard
this song just gets me going, not gonna lie, i got pretty bruised during this song at a live show, and everyone ... and i mean everyone was singing along
If you like this kind of "sound" just try to hear Boundaries they're even better. Try too AlphaWolf, Malevolence, Jesus Piece, Paleface (Swiss), Thrown, Counterparts, Dying Wish, Bodysnatcher. But Boundaries are the real deal. Most underrated band in the last 4 years. They deserve the same quantity of views and repercussion as KL.
I just listened to a few Boundaries songs. Very good, but not on the heavy level of K//L. They do deserve the hype, but I wouldn't recommend them to someone who likes K//L and their heaviness and foreboding sound. Boundaries is more Deathcore for fans of August Burns Red, Norma Jean, and those types. Just my opinion, but regardless Boundaries is good in their own right.
