Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your videos! You do a really good job of balancing high end products with the less expensive brands. In fact, I feel like you use more of the drugstore brands than anything else! I'm a college student so I don't have piles of cash to spend on makeup. Sometimes I get frustrated with other beauty-related RU-vidrs because they rarely (if ever) include cheaper brands in their videos. So again, thank you so much for being versatile!

I ditto your love for the GOLDEN BRONZER. I use it to contour and high light, AND as eyeshadow! AND, if I want a subtle glow, I lightly swirl all the colors and apply. A denser glow of course would simply need more product swirled together. It has a beautiful effect!

I actually like the Elf blush brush for highlighting and setting my under eye concealer just because kind of like what you said it is too small for applying blush, but using it to set my under eye concealer I feel like it's just the perfect size! Great video by the way! I always enjoy watching your videos! :)

Love big fluffy blush brushes too although I tend to make them multi use. Also just bought the Mint Lip Exfoliator and love it. It made my liquid lipsticks stay all day and bleed less.

Kathleen, I have never worn a lot of makeup I then discovered your videos and I have doubled my makeup collection and have actually bought brushes for the firs time in 20 years!. Your videos are excellent and I look forward to watching them most nights before I go to bed! I'm still learning but am having so much fun experimenting and my husband loves it!! The gel eyeliner is great on the waterline. I just tested it out today and it stayed all day. Went to work at 3:30 pm and just now got home. I'm pretty impressed. Never had an eyeliner stay on so long.

KathleenLights These were excellent and informative mini reviews; there are 3 or 4 products I'm going to purchase bc of your swatches and descriptions in this vid. Thanks so much. Also I do love that blush brush - I use it with the e.l.f. (undereye setting...something) powder. The tapered shape is great for that. Also for undereye highlight, etc like everyone else is saying. Kathleen, I have that ELF blush brush and I get what you mean about it being too small for blush. I use it for setting my under eye concealer with powder, it's really good for that because it doesn't apply too much, and it's nice and soft x

I agree, spongetips are the way to go with colourpop. Way more pigmentation than a brush and much easier to control than your finger. I bought some specifically to use with them too, since I usually throw all mine away when they come in a compact.

E.l.f also makes a clear gel lipliner, which works fantastically to prevent bleeding & feathering of lip products. I stock up on them whenever Target has them, because they sell out very quickly. I love that I can use them with every lip color in my repertoire, and it matches, because it's clear! Try one, you won't be disappointed!

Have you tried their HD Concealer? It's ahhhhmazing! The color selection isn't that great, and fair isn't fair at all, but it is one of the creamiest, non-creasing concealer I have ever tried.

Loved seeing your haul! We got such different products! Hoping to have mine up this week but yeah I agree that the square bronzer the first one doesn't do too much. I bought it months ago and barely use it. Also I bought 3 of the baked blushes and they are totally highlight shades. Maybe I'll use them as blush toppers too but agree that they aren't blushes. I bought some of the baked shadows you used on your elf tutorial and love them! Thanks for making me buy more stuff! haha

I have to put a stop to buying ELF!!! lol ....seriously, I'm gonna do the "no buy" (at least until Dec.) I have to much already. But I am really looking forward to Nichole (young wild and polished) getting that blush and using it in one of her videos! I use pinktastic as a highlight as well. Here's a tip (which you probably dont need because you're awesome) I noticed I don't get as a smooth highlight if applied with a brush so i apply it straight from the package (avoiding the pink streaks)by rubbing it on my highlight area and then blend out. Works just as good as other highlights I've used.

Use the blush brush to set your under eye concealer! Best brush I've found for it because it picks up the perfect amount of powder to set it but not make it to cakey!!

I have tried Elf in the past and I liked a few products but ended up being disappointed you kinda get what you pay for. For example I bought the black eyeliner and I loved it, but it dried out and became really hard on me in 2 months. I bought the bronzer and the pan came out because it wasn't properly glued and broke everywhere. I bought a brush and the handle came apart after a while. These are the things u have to deal with sometimes. BUT i will say that the eyeshadow creams are great and haven't dried out on me yet. That naked eyeshadow palette looks beautiful though! And those shades looked nice. I might have to try that one!!

A million years ago i was using a lip exfoliater/balm in lipstick form from TARTE & i loved it it was perfect! they stopped making it though so i went on a hunt & found the ELF one i bought 3 just to have backups, it works amazing and it tastes so sweet! No joke because of these videos I've purchased A TON of E.L.F. stuff, they should literally pay you for how much I've bought bc of you LOL I've never used their stuff before (aside from exfol) and I really like it a lot, and the price? Omg nuff said. I have a bag full of stuff I haven't gotten to yet & I already want to buy more lol
