I own both and honestly, it's all about how you prep your skin and the type of foundation that you use. Both are great products and thank you for the review
Do you mind sharing how you prep your skin for the Elf one? I just bought the Elf one and I'd love to know what would be the best way to prep my skin for it.
Thanks for the amazing review of both :) I just tried a sample of hydrogrip today and was blown away. Kicking myself for not trying it sooner lol. I am going to give elf a try first before committing to the full size though. What could be a deal breaker is that I have extremely sensitive skin and the elf primer does have different ingredients than milk's. So its possible my skin might react differently but we shall see! Worth a shot to save some $$$ lol
@@AriellAsh elf didn't bother my skin, but it didn't mesh with my foundation unfortunately. Kept looking patchy and separating no matter how I tried to apply.
Hi there yes I have the milk primer and I use it only once’s and I like it so far I have heard so much about it 😊but I never try the elf primer yet so I’m going to use the milk some more then I mite try the elf I really enjoy this video also thanks for sharing ❤
I have both, they both perform the same. I do find myself reaching more for Elf (no particular reason) I dont see myself repurchasing that milk primer. The other milk matte primer is ok as well, dont think ill be repurchasing either. Suggestion: can you please try MUFE new powder and Laura Mercier i think its foundation (comes out feb 26)
Thanks for sharing not sure why I’ve been reaching for the Elf one as well maybe it has something to do with the softer squeeze packaging 🤣 And absolutely I just can’t figure out which color to get it’s so hard choosing online don’t think it’s in stores. Also I’ll stay on the lookout for the LM foundation I haven’t heard anything about it.
@@AriellAsh u know what it really is the packaging bc thats what im feeling for when i open the draw. LM isnt out yet towards ending of this month. They dropping a foundation and tint. MUFE is now in stores it literally just dropped and i would say go in stores as the colors are..i dont even know what word to say. It reminds me of juvias place in terms of tryna find a shade its darker on skin vs in the pan.
Love this review. I have the Bobbi Brown WTF and as it is water based, I needed a water based primer. ELF tops most "best" lists along with the Milk. For the $, I will try the ELF first. I have had such difficulty using the WTF and I am 61 with dry skin. I feel as though it smears and pills so I am not prepping my skin appropriately. I will try a light moisturizer, then the ELF, then the WTF. Wish me luck as I was NOT genetically gifted with your gorgeous skin:)
Glad it was helpful! I hope it works with your routine bobbi brown vitamin enriched face base is a great primer for mature skin as well and moisturizing. Thank you Hun 😊
