We need to bring this back.....flash mobs dancing to good music. It's not too late. I'm 52 and this is probably the one thing I want to do most before I die......
I'm African American. I grew up in Virginia. Blacks and white and other races got along . We were a family. In1981 I lost 12 members in my graduation class. My son I s married to a Caucasian women . Imgoing to be a grandmother. Let's stop hate. This song reminds of my high school year. I love Rock and roo
I am Caucasian. Many of my grandchildren are part white part black. Love them equally. We don't see color. We see precious human beings. I love you all
I think all this reported "hate" is created by our so called leaders who want to separate and control us. I don't see all this "hate". I am white and I live in a very mixed area near Chicago, I don't see anyone calling people names, trying to do anything to them, etc. At work, socially, everyone seems to get along just fine.
It's the morning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine & I had to play this wonderful ELO song & the equally wonderful video. If only we could come together 'All over the World'. Peace & love to all.
Ukraine is deep state. Stop believing the lies. They are doing to Putin what they did to Trump and Pope Benedict XVI, they got rid of them because they stand against the New World Order.
🍃👩🏻Everytime I hear this song, I've never enjoyed seeing so many people happy.. No fighting, no division, no hate, no prejudice, and no wars.. Just pure love for something as old as music bringing people together.. Why can't we all be like this? Isn't it beautiful just being happy? We need to love more and fight less. Maybe.. Just maybe, we can finally all live in peace.. We should play this song and video like the title, "All Over The World" Make it a holiday. 🎶🕺🏼💃🏻🕺🏽💃🏾🕺🏻💃🏼🎶
Knighthoods are tainted with far too many bad eggs who got them ... Jimmy Savile (it took Margaret Thatcher FIVE TRYS to get it through) and far too many police chiefs who FAILED in their duty to "protect young girls from being forcefully pleasured by old guys of a certain community".
All ELO fans need to watch the movie “strange magic”. ELO is the soundtrack. My daughter and I were the only ones in the theater. We sang the whole movie.
Come on now, we should all know what the world anthem is by now-from your grandparents to your child in utero… ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dQw4w9WgXcQ.html 😉
I'd never underrate Jeff Lynne or ELO. Saw him last evening at the start of his 2016 tour in Liverpool. The concert was absolutely amazing. Perfect music. Wonderful enduring talent.
I'm not a fan of being over 50 but I am a fan of Elo. Watching this video puts a lump in my throat. This song reminds me of my younger days when nothing felt impossible and everything seemed simpler. I miss those days....
I felt that way for a long time, so agree up to a point. But I finally found that there is actually some good new music out there, it's just hard to find and you're certainly not going to find in on the radio. Not sure that's progress...
Jeff Lynne I remember him and his orchestra. Timeless, inspirational music. pretty darn cool how we always amazes me with his talent! This song is beyond great! Joining people together, stirs my emotions when I see it. You show love and you get love back back, plain and simple...
I love seeing so many happy and smiling faces. It doesn’t matter if they’re dancing and singing or just watching. This is how it should be all of the time…All Over the World! Thank you, ELO for such an awesome song!
Yes it's so hard. Expecially when you have lost . Someone who you all loved so much. And my heart goes out to everyone Who has lost their loved ones. I'm their lives xxxxxxx 🧚

I have listened to E.L.O since the 70's and their music is Timeless. Jeff and the band, would just like to say Thank You for the decades of music and joy you brought to us, ALL OVER THE WORLD 🌎 ❤. Stay young and keep rocking with the Electric Light Orchestra
I 100% totally agree with everything you said 😊 I also grew up listening to ELO in the 70’s, my fav group, will be forever rocking with ELO from Australia 🇦🇺 ❤
@@pauldzim Of course they’re not, but it’s beautiful to see all these people from various ages, backgrounds, ethnicities dancing and smiling together. It’s so rare these days….
...and my dog don't bite. Man has been attempting and trying this " love" "all over the world" thing for thousands of years. When was "love" exhibited the most in history, "all over the world"? Immediately following the end of "wars". What does that tell us? A laugh is empty and temporary without the tears compelling it to urge its emotion. The feel good for a day and sadness for an age is a requirement for in the least an acceptable co-existence. Open borders is the premise and prescription for the disaster of the nation who embraces it. America will be the next nation in a long line of wealthy and powerful nations to realize its blunder and plunge its own people into poverty. Woe comes to the nation where-in each tribe claims to be its own nation. Sound familiar? Forget love. Never forget tough love.
This should be the World Anthem when the Coronavirus will be behind us.....The Music God Jeff Lynne reminds us to call and check on our love ones in a difficult time in our history. Love you Jeff!
I love these flash mob dancing it's just soooo cool 😎.it's beautiful.see how music brings people together.look at them just the people watching alone are happy..we need this again today.we got wats and corrupt govt and COVID and ahhh..just havoc please bring these dancers back make America and the world smile again..we really need it don't ya think
ELO ONE of my Fav bands FORMED IN THE 1970s , They sound like the 70s Beatles ,, I REMEMBER this at TOUNGE POINT JCC In ASTORIA OREGON ,, around 79 or 80
Jeff, I want to do a major ELO All over the world Flash Mob Dance! What a perfect way to beat this virus and get back to normal! Hopefully soon! I emailed my radio station WJPA.com
Me too. I'm sitting here, sobbing, wondering wth happened to the western world. EVERYTHING is politicized and divisive today. More flash mobs, not ANTIFA mobs.
This is a bona-fide CLASSIC!!! I love the idea of people dancing together in unison like this. It's a real feel-good moment. We need more songs like this ALL OVER THE WORLD!!! ❤️💕❤️
This song was a positive during the corona virus. Imagine lip syncing this in your basement and just going nuts like no one's watching. We all needed a hug back then. 🤗 Hugs!
Jeff Lynne is one of sweetest and HUMBLE men of Rock and Roll. Also, the way he inserted a classical orchestra into Rock music is stunning. He also had vocal choir arrangements in his music...making the music sound very "angelic". The first song on the album "New World Record" is a prime example of the choir givinng the song a huge and heavenly vibe...
I've been listening to ELO most of my life and I'm an old man and this video brings tears to my eyes thinking about where we are today. Please, stop this insanity! 😢
Perhaps one of the reasons why the World is in such dire conditions - the demise of real rock music to the garbage that's vomited out to today's World.
I agree , I am also am older and this does bring tears to the eyes. So many getting along. But what is going on now in the US. I left for good, too few years to enjoy.
I was 11 in 1980..The year my dad died. I'm 51 and got kids of my own now. I tear up when I hear this, times have changed. Too the new generation... Peace To my dad, rest in peace.
My Father passed away when I was 9nin 1978, so I can identify. Always loved ELO, this is one of my favorites of theirs. This song was used in a dance segment in the Movie Xanadu with Olivia Newton John. Good movie, great music
Not only is Jeff Lynne a GENIUS hes one of the most respected in the industry! When he gives us one of the most spirit lifting happiest songs ever - we can see why. This song is STILL ROCKIN in 2022 at parties etc.......incredibly, his voice has hardly changed in all the years, I have been following them since their first gig in the 70's......LONG LIVE ELO AND JL!! Its well past time this man GOT HIS KNIGHTHOOD please your Majesty?
I recently watched the movie "Paul" and this was played on the soundtrack along with ""Don't Bring Me Down". So of course here I am on RU-vid listening and smiling.
I have noticed two versions of this video……this appears to be mostly professional dance troupes…..the other version seems to have a mix of professional dancers and random guests from filming locations…. Either version, still great coordination and video editing. I first heard this on the 1980 Top 40 countdown. Catchy tune so had to check out the video.
Brought me to tears . Wonderful to see people together and enjoying them selves . Needs to happen a lot more . Hopefully when all the madness has gone we can do this again and again .
When you have seen the greatest bands in concert, you realize in 2019 that Jeff Lynne's ELO is really on top... for their sound, vocals and musicians. Please tour in 2020.
This should be the World Anthem when the Coronavirus will be way behind us.....The Music God Jeff Lynne reminds us to call and check on our love ones in a difficult time in our history. Love you Jeff! Long live Jeff Lynne’s Electric Light Orchestra! Stay healthy everybody, stay strong and we will prevail All Over The World!
To be out cruising with the windows down . I remember bright summer days with ELO on the radio and feeling on top of the world . God ! I wish that I could go back.
Jeff Lynne and ELO deserve a much higher rating. They have produced 50 years of great upbeat music that lifts spirits and are a joy to listen to . A true national treasure.
I watch this at least once a day. Just to see people happy and dancing (even if not very well) and having fun. No mention of politics, pandemics or who's life matters.
I play this song over a PA system every year on New Year's Eve in our neighborhood clubhouse, while we shoot off fireworks. Always a big hit. In the early 80s, when I was on a roller-skating "speed team" we used to have a skating routine to this song as well. Boy, those were the days....⛸
