Thank you very much! I had purchased one if these and was trying to figure out the best ways to increase performance. This was very informative and I appreciate your effoet in making this video. It helped answer a few of my questions. Hopefully I can get mine running a little more consistently.
I really love the idea of this gun. I want more GBBs that can be HPA and with aeg mags. But this just doesn't look like it has the build quality for the price its at. It seems like it takes a whole lot of custom work.
To be honest, the price is still justifiable. You won't find a HPA ready item at the price and you definitely won't find much GBBRs at the price that has a one piece steel barrel, full steel internals and a DLC coated steel bolt. There isn't really much work to be done either... just some o-rings and tape. The design is not perfect (if not lazy) and Quality Control is horrendous but that's about it.
I was really on the fence on getting this gun, but many players recommended TM's or VFC's GBBRs. I want to like this gun, but you pointed out the gun's short comings. Here's hoping E&L fix these issues on a updated model in the future. Thanks for the update.
Not really a comparison. The TM and VFC are not HPA systems but you could run an adapter. They'd run better and more consistent imo but it does mean spending more money for the adapter and upgrade parts(especially the mws).
2:25 adding this O-ring to the stock gun on 650PSI made it jump from 0.5J to 2.3J with 0.28 gram BBs... I'm trying to hit about 1.1J like how you did at 1:27, what other mods were done to it? Just the 3 from the last video? Cutting the nozzle spring, adding the rubber pads to the back of the metal spacer in the bolt, and adding an O-ring to the metal nozzle?
due to the lack of after market support, i have actually designed and made quite a bit of body modifications, a Mlok handguard for my type 191 foam dart launcher.
im interested in your MLOK handguard, ive been putting together a parts list and the MLOK rail has definitely been unobtanium. Do you have a website or somewhere I can see your work?
I have a question, by putting the O-ring on the nozzle (2:20), can it lead to inconsistency in BB placement because the nozzle would not go deep enough into the hop up chamber?
its been a little over a month since I got mine and Ive run into a problem I cant seem to fix. I had been intending to run mine with c02 but after tightening and piercing the cartridge all the CO2 seems to just leak out. The first cartridge held fine but after a few rounds it started to leak. There isnt much on the rifle so I was wondering if there are any solutions for this.
I added an O-ring to the plastic nozzle like in the video, and it immediately went up to 2.3 joules; I'm finding it hard to find the sweet spot; I'm going to try cutting the spring next
This is a production beta tester prototype trying to recover R&D expenses of a failed project. E&L should of just made this a paintball marker like it wants to be.
@@jamesboler6185 Hi James, ive never had issues with SRC BBs for the last 10 years and all work perfectly fine in any other replicas. As the Video shows, the mags do split with the screws free floating. This also only happened with the mags 3-4 games later.
