I saw The Three Musketeers (1993) in theaters in the first week of release, and this is definitely a fine version of the the Bryan Adams, Sting, and Rod Stewart song. Damn fine version, actually.
I'm born in Russia and lived there for some years, both of my parents are russian. But now i live in Sweden and speak swedish... so am i swedish now??? No i'm not, wherever i go i'll be russian, and the same with Danny... You can't change someone's origin. Btw who the hell cares about Idol&Eurovision? You don't have to be swedish to join them.
Idk, I think the problem with this version is that it makes the song a lot more "softer". They're great and all, but the "rusty" voices of Stewart, Adams, and Sting create a completely different feel for the song. Anyways, it's still a pretty decent cover:)
Yeah it is like when Brandy made the cover of Evry thing i do etc. Ya need the rust & girth from B Adams to awoid to sweet & so 4rth on a alredy sweet song like that.
I guess you chose to ignore the rest of my post but you can't come up with an argument. So what is that other person? 14.2% Bolivian, 14.2 % Polish, 14.2 % German, etc? I am very interested in hearing your opinion on this instead of you trying to change the subject. Because your second comment is a strawman argument. If I get up and move to China I would still be Swedish because I was raised in Swedish society. The same would not be true for any children I had there.
I laughed so hard after reading your comment and re-watching that part, after all these years I never noticed that he sings that particularly part and points to his band mate , lol!...
So what is he? Bolivian/Polish? Do we keep adding categories based on ancestry until someone is Bolivian/Polish/German/Swedish/Japanese/Brazilian/Turkish? When does it end? Fact of the matter is that everyone has "foreign" ancestry because national borders are artificial. Ethnicity is also not static. Even my Swedish side of the family has foreign roots if you go back for enough. You see yourself as Russian - ok? Why are you allowed a choice of how to identify but Danny isn't?
We may as well speak in English since according to your logic neither of us are Swedish. Besides, it's easier to publically shame you for your views if more people can understand you. You've already stated you see someone as being from the country their parents are from and I've already stated to you why such an argument is illogical and irrational. You have yet to come with an actual counter-argument. And I don't give a shit what "some people" argue. It's not what I'm arguing.
