Yes all the Proteus modules are getting more expensive because they consider classic hardware that's becoming more rare. They were all designed by Dave Rossum and his team under Creative Labs. The SP1200 shot up on vaule over the years. I still got my Proteus 2000 and Mo Phatt. I only have 1 slot left in my Proteus as the cards are nearly the same price as a whole sound module.
