Mine wasn’t great but was the best smoothest leather and cedar smoke I’ve had and I hate leather i think some aging would help them a lot since it has some coffee and coca below deck really good with iced coffee

Not a pleasant feeling when this happens especially on stuff above ~ 15 bucks. Not especially a good feeling when they charged you for the once in a life time smoking experience and they under deliver on the promise. I understand the the roller ( to be exact the bonchero ) wanted to get their daily commission numbers maximized on the amount of tobacco they gave them. Therefore, the management did not catch the inside trick. But, for that price there shouldn't be pressure on the entry level jobs and there should be a way better quality. In a matter of fact sell the mistakes as a B quality at a 35% off I am sure people would consider it when they know exactly what they are promised. If the management is afraid of not loosing on the pennies, the quality issues will eventually catch up with them in bankruptcy court.

@@tl6137 you have a great point, even with the built issue though, it end up to be a pretty good cigar, if it was a choice between being able to release vs this entire batch is no good so now we can't release at all, I am glad the released it because I was very excited for this cigar when they announced they were going release this size, I hope this is a learning experience for them as well and next year and so on they release it perfectly, it's not a easy shape to produce. I hope next year they release it with better pricing and I would love to review it again. Thanks for the comment.

@@SoySauceAssassin Hopefully, the whole batch is not full with defects. The point of argument is that at the register, we are paying for what we are / should be getting. Goes both ways, retailer and consumer. There shouldn't be any excuses. The more the excuses the more you let them charge you for what ever they have a scratch for. As a clarification this happens with many brands these days ( Plasencia being one of them ). Besides the point, E.P. Carrillo generally has very good tobaccos selection, at least there isn't much of an argument there.
