His awful biased and arrogant style might be the reason why some dislike him. Falcon gets lots of crap in his channel for no reason.

@@eulogp9888 except i never said he was likable. What im saying is that a lot of people gripe about his inability to expand sooner or controlling his units. My point is that Snow isnt dumb. There is a reason why one of the best Starcraft players praises Artosis for being ONE of the BEST SC FOREIGNERS and people dont seem to comprehend why.

If he wasn't so stubborn he could be ASL tier, the mans game knowledge is unreal, but he just has some bad habits he refuses to shake....

@@eulogp9888 Falcon is an exellent caster, but his analysis of was is happening in game is actually bad, many of his calls are wrong, artosis on the other hand is very accurate

@@misn100Athosis is a pro player. And I don't like his style. 1. He keeps cursing while playing 2. He rage quit the game without say GG in his live game session. I really don't like to watch his style in playing Broodwar. Not gentleman at all

if you have templar with your army, you'd rather storm the goliath. You dont see battery much cause you are aupposed to engage disengage a lot, so flying home isnt too possible and shield recharge naturally accross all your carriers at one

@@eriks2962in offense, half of the templar never reach their destination to cast their spell, and once they do half of them are kill before they can retreat into safety. But if they stay in the rear as defense, near those batteries, they can be use as formidable defense, patiently accumulating energy, and once the carriers retreat to recharge their shield, the templars can add a few sacrificial illusion carriers at ZERO COST to better deceive their enemies, and mount a new assault where the enemy don't expect them.

@@PopeBenedictXVIHollyman hallucinations of carriers are not that good. the hallucination only stays up for a minute they have no armor and take double damage from everything. So really the gallucination saves you from the damage of a single volley of a control group of goliath. (a 3/3 goliath does 2 shot of 16 damage. carrier is 300/150. So a goliath does 64 damage per volley to hallucinations. So it is 8 goliath volley.) you have to research hallucination which cost 150 gas. I am not convinced. Though with carriers protoss oftens as a excess of gas that goes into making archons who die fairly quickly, so maybe keeping a couple for hallucinations would be fine at that stage.

@@eriks2962 hallucinations cost zero. Let's say 6 Carriers are preceded by 6 hallucinated ones to attack 12 Goliaths. By the time the hallucinations are destroyed, at least 6 Goliaths would have been taken down by the real Carriers, with their hull relatively intact, before retreating to the battery shields array and repeating the tactic.

@@PopeBenedictXVIHollyman No! That clearly does not work and isn't true. Hallucinations cost you something, you have to research hallucination which cost quite a bit of mineral and gas (150/150). And they cost energy on templar. 6 hallucinated carriers is 300 templar energy, which is also known as 4 storms. So no it does cost something. Now, I am a potato so I float a lot, and I could probably have a few templars just for hallucinations. But pros are much better than that. Also, you CAN NOT go from 6 carriers to 12 carriers with hallucination. It doesn't work, because players know the production rate of the protoss army, if you expect 6 carriers and 12 show up, either you missed 4 stargates or it is hallucinations. And hallucinations dispel when hit by any spell. So the only thing that having 6 hallucinated carrier would do is to bait EMP. And, ok. Maybe baiting EMP and have science vessels not have energy for D-matrix is useful. But terran normally do EMP carriers from time to time. They prefer D-matrix, but they do use EMP from time to time So I don't think they'll be massively sad to use EMP. And they will probably already have EMP researched becasue they normally keep a science vessel to spot DTs and have EMP to cast on high templars. And maybe them casting EMP on the carriers force the science vessel to go forward and that gives you a better shot at sniping them. I still think you'd rather have templars with your dragoons and blanket storm.

There is a humungous difference between watching a replay and playing a game. I can tell you how many times i notice idle workers in a replay yet when im doing it live, they are everywhere lol.

Too many archons and bad carrier micro did it

The carrier screw ups were bad enough he should have just stopped making em. I mean he flew right over the goliaths several times, you just cannot do that. And you're right the archons are really a WTF type of thing to do vs Terran. All it takes is one EMP to complete ruin them too.
