I just found your channel and love it. I'm in Bountiful. So seeing you guys rip the roads & mountains I've been on a 1,000x is way cool. Been reaaaally kicking the can on getting a Ebike. Going to be a minute though, wrecked my road bike 3 weeks ago off of 4th N and 89. Pretty bad wreck. I've got a road to recovery and medical debt before I can get on a bike and rip again.

If you used regen the entire way down you would hardly gain any battery. Maybe 1.5 volts it’s mainly used for a brake

Cant tell you guys how much ive been waiting for someone to put out this video! You guys are realy amazing! Did you guys see the new chi batteries for the eride pro ss came out? They are crazy, 1 of them is rated for 22kw continuous and 38kw , and the other is Rated for 30kw of continuous discharge with a peak over 40kw baby! And they only work with this controller! 1 is 60ah witch is insane with that power!! Are you guys going to be reviewing these monster batteries? Thanks for the awesome content!

Have you OVERHEATED the motor? I had a Surron with BAC8000 15kw at 500 phase amps. It would over heat on hill climbs or aggressive single track. Can you try to overheat the E-ride with the X9?

We only rode the stock e ride for the drag race, alex rode an upgraded talaria xxx on the ride. We haven’t noticed much less range riding trails than before we’ve drained the battery 3 times now with the controlller.

I’ve got a question, when I cut the brown wire on talaria xxx I know it boosts the top speed, but does it also boost the acceleration speed? Because I raced my friend on my talaria and he was on a stock surron and he beat me. I’ve seen the xxx win against the surron so idk. Thank you great video as well!

We could always lower but gearing the bike down a little just lowers the motors rpm’s at any given time and that adds efficiency when going faster. It also helps to smooth out the throttle with the added power and torque. At the end of the day the E ride motor is a low Kv motor so has lots of torque and does better with small gearing. Some other motors are much higher Kv and do better with larger gearing and spinning faster.

Is the e-ride pro’s motor going to be able to handle the extra Kw/PA’s(over time)the controller unlocks. I pretty sure it’s not an IPM motor like the MX4.

The E ride has a more name brand high end motor, it’s technically a QS165 v2 motor which you can google, the motor has a lot more potential than any other stock motor. There are still higher end motors but this one is very capable.

We may at some point but it really just depends on how you ride it, if your riding them the same speed in a test they won't be any different. If you pull full throttle a lot on the more powerful bike then yes it drains faster! We feel it didn't make much difference though

Take any of their wheelie tutorials on a sting r or modded surron same shit. Don't be scared go find a large flat field go about 15-17kmh depending on weight and pin it. Try going at it like that to get the hang of smaller power wheelies and progress from there the slower you pin the throttle at the higher the wheel will come up.

If you’re riding fast on the street that’s why… an hour of fast riding drains really fast, an hour of tight single track doesn’t use anywhere near as much battery and going downhill doesn’t either.

@@Talariaboysbut they won’t show me a picture of the ewatt/ebmx version. I’m afraid it won’t look the same they said a lot of the parts are the same but they can’t get them fast enough for the Ventus one version to sell more. The production is taking a long time.

Wait but everyone says the eride power is more than enough out the box…i thought it was a surron killer and you’re saving over 3k not having to buy a controller/battery? Eride guys are paying almost 6k after taxes…just to spend another 3k on a battery and controller.

For some people it’s enough out of the box… and this isn’t an upgraded battery this is $1200 to get a ton more power and torque and makes it comparable to a surron or talaria with a upgraded battery and controller like you said. It’s still a better deal getting the e ride.

If there is any young rider that watches talaria boys can you please tell me if you have ever been pulled over by the cops and how often you have been pulled over and we they nice or rude about it. I make 10,000 a week as a 12 year old and I have been doing research if I can ride a ventus one bike there wasn’t much information so I went with surron and they say if your under 16 your not allowed to ride. I’m scared that I might get pulled over and my parents called.

Cops are starting to become more strict. It really depends on where you live. I wouldn’t get the Ventus bike. I’d start with a Surron, talaria, or Eride pro
