E-signatures and digital signatures have both brought convenience to authenticating important documents in the digital age. And while they’re similar, they're not the same. TRANSLATION: e-signatures are easier but riskier. Digital signatures are safer, but much more of a hassle. And I understand there is at least one other type of online signature. Anyway you cut it, it’s all massive confusion! And I believe it was all intended to be that way. My investment firm starts out using “DocuSign”, then “Equipt”, and now “Osaic.” My financial advisor just told me a few minutes ago that the latter two have different purposes which I can’t remember. I think I’m just gonna stick with old fashioned wet signatures. They are still the most secure, which explains why some companies insist on using them still. 😤Thank you!

The good thing about esignatures, you can have a lot of people sign for you, if you're not around, and you can do the same for others. Yeah, it's easy to copy. It's nice to have actual writing outlawed.
