It's all started just from me watching documentary about Jagdtiger lol PS: SB is fun ,don't get me wrong. Especially for 7.7-8.0 right now . Even with Jag I was bouncing all day long (just if I could hit something lol). Definitely I will play some more 😉

@@kashalot154 i'm sorry, but i have to disagree, he (dollar) was using jagdtiger which cannot penetrate the frontal hull armour of T-54s, and the only way to kill T-54 frontally is by trap shot in the turret (T-54 47) and cupola. It is hard to shoot such a weakspot in the long range, especially in SB mode

@@TheJimyyy em in 90% of all abttles I'm facing 7.7 br and nearly no 5.7 br, this tank is very slow and it's gun just isin't good, I prefer tiger 2 gun, also in like 70% of all battles I'm killed by planes and lets just say that jagdtiger doesn't have good AA defense

Remember my friend, in SIM the optics are placed in the correct positions (most of the times anyways). So, that means for the big german bois like Jagd tiger, E-100 and Maus.. the optics are placed on the roof, wich means you need to do a lot of compensation when shooting at short distances. I recomend you simply use 3rd person in a knife-fight since it needs almost no compensation. Great video, humor and gameplay :) Cheers!

P A R A L L A X. In tank RB your sight is your gun, but in SB battles your sight is gunner's optics. So you need to aim higher because optics is higher and to the left than gun

Yeah , on some tanks sight is just on the left (like amx 50) which is easy to aim but with Jag and Maus (on the roof I thing) so It makes those close shots very inaccurate if you use sight. I was missing a lot of easy shots. Hard to get used to it after playing RB all the time

I’m glad after 7 years of playing war thunder the game finally decided to give me American desert one time ! And I played it in the jagdtiger and bounced 4 128mm shells on a 90 degree plate and got 0 kills and 5 deaths

A Thing for SB Since Sniper mode alwys will show you a point of view from your Gunner optic, you need to count it to aiming. For each tank it has another "point of view". However if you turn your gun in binoculars mode, your gun will be ALWYS on the target. Only what you need to do then is to rangefind Example: 1. Enemy spoted 2. Use rangefinder (lets say it 1.2km) 3. Set up range finder on 1.2 km 4. In binoculars camera turn your gun on enemy tank 5. Pull the trigger 6. Enjoy show 7. Start a cigarette as a sign of victory 8. Repeat

That targeting issue you had is what I dubbed the 800 nerf. They skew the gun sights as related to the barrel. When that happens just set your mills to 800m and everything will be on target.

Dollar, try the adjustable gun sight feature in WT for outstanding long range sniping. Once you veteran a crew you can get accurate range finding beyond 1,000. Set the yardage in your sight to match (I use my mouse wheel to roll the yardage and press down to reset back to “0”) and watch the Allies cry when you bust a turret from 1,500 or 2,000 on first shot. I pre sight on ridge lines or a nearby house. With flat shooting rounds in high velocity German guns it is magic!

Thanks for advice , I gonna have to try next time when I go sniping .Can you range find beyond 1000m with Jag only with crew?, because there is no range finding modification to unlock .

@@DOLLARplays yes but My crew is 110 ace. Range funding works with all gunners. Check under crew attributes before you start and allocate xp to the gunner for "range findig" See also RU-vid for this subject under range finding

That M2A4 is just like me. I use a M3A1 at top tier, 6.0+. Just aim for the barrel, and you’ll be fine. Then just aim for whatever weak spot there is.

Idk why, but complete not registers of shells is happening more recently, its usually down to gun position desync, usually caused by taking damage that immobilized your gun then making a reflex shot, but simply using a stabilized tank can cause it, its funny bc its obvious gaijin will never address this
