I thought id have a hard time getting into it, but tbh i learned pretty quick that the game is only as complicated as you make it. I started off simple as heck before i got good at automating

Get autobuild and all you have to do is use the deconstruct tool on the forest and press shift+B and say bye bye to the forest

Yeah, drugs have nothing on this game. It's harder to quit 'cracktorio' than the actual crack.

I do this with Techmodded Minecraft. It's _really_ fun.

Not correct. He is using some mods, and one of these adds different types of biters, one type of spitter spits smaller biters over a distance. I think it is called breeder biter. Later in the video you can see Martin get killed widening the "water wall", the green spitters spitting lots of biters on him. The biter expansion option in the game dont spawn bugs from nothing.

@@teseutressoldi3972 I'm aware of the NEE mod, but in vanilla, biters DO expand depending on how much pollution's being absorbed, and/or how many nests have been destroyed. It also depends on how much time has passed too. The more pollution is accumulated in a cell, which is a section of the generated map, the higher the chance a nest will spawn. It'll even get to a point where a normal freeplay session could turn into a deathworld run after a certain period of time. Natural Evolution just ramps it up to 11. Also, I think you're mistaken with the green spitters for breeder biters. Breeders are blue, and both biters and spitters split into smaller versions upon death. Whereas only the spitter variants of the fast biters launch smaller units.

The factorios combat is why i like it the constant threat of biters and with mods they can be set to be as difficult as you want. The art style and athmosphere and ARTILLERY TRAINS🍦🥶🍦🥶
