My glow plug was loose from new also. The machine was brand new and you could undo the plug with your fingers!..

Hi Skeet, Do you have access to off-road diesel fuel(the red color). I'd choose this over the diesel fuel that gas stations carry. It's a much cleaner diesel fuel. Have a beautiful day!! Illinois

it's the same diesel with a dye to distinguish from regular taxed diesel. There's nothing special about it.

Helpful to know what the E08 code means. For me it was flame out because the pump had stopped working. I think I had installed it at too low an angle. Anyway, the replacement arrived today, £8, and is installed and running, thank you

The pump on my brand new unit stopped working after 2 days, but I'm not convinced it's bad. My heater was working fine for a few hours and then it just stopped working and said error code 8. Now when I try to start it everything except the pump starts.

Hi. I have one of these about 2 years. Great heat for my little shed too hot sometimes even on low heat. I'm on my third glow plug. First time I mess up left the unit run out of diesel,the glow plug seem to burn out. Ordered another one came just the plug. The unit was full of sut hand no socket to fit plug but was loose anyway. Fired her up and away she went. But. I damaged the seals which was sucking bin air and it kept smoking badly😂I smoked the whole street out. Ordered seals which also came with the socket and a new wire gauge. pump got stuck another time and I took it off and reversed the plus and minus on the battery to reset the pump it worked .Just briefly connect it and you'll hear the Clic. This time I ran out of diesel again😢 and ended up changing the plug again and another clean. I think I might have dirty diesel there is no filter. Other than that is a grand wee thing 😂😂

Do you have any higher temperature readings as I have a vevor and a Hcalory and get following with same pump Vevor casing 190c Hcalory 211c I have written down controller settings and experiments in open air to see if more fuel or fan speed helps, it seems 190 c on vevor is maxed out

Try ker-o-clean in the used oil. I have been using it with some used torpedo heater i picked up and it cleaned them right up and the diesel smell is almost none existence just a thought thanks for the good videa!!!!

Mine was that the fuel tank cap was plugged. Soon as the tank got to half, it would run like crap.

Cheers for video guide, could throw that thing down in the ultrasonic cleaner, should clean out those small areas. Does it work good to use the old used motor oil in this unit ?

So I burn jet-A in mine(get waste for free from the airport I work at). I am super curious how you are burning waste oil, I figure I could cut my jet -a with waste oil but not sure if the ratio.
