I look forward to these videos so much, thanks for making them! I'm not In a place yet to have a small shop but when I do I'm building some planes. Thanks Mike!
It's not hard at all to make your own canopies. I have two of the three-part series on RU-vid already. I hope to have the fianal episode finished in a week or so. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1orKJht5Kik.html
Mike, this is great information. I hope I won't need to use it anytime soon, but you have given me some different ideas for the future. Thanks a bunch.
You never know when the plane gods will demand a sacrifice. On the serious side, the landing gear repair can be adapted to any plane. Almost all ARFs are weak in that area (I am convinced by design) and a simple rebuild in that area after gear failure saves a fuse and makes it stronger than before. I'm glad you found it informative and thanks for the kind words.
Thanks. It was in a hover about 50 feet up. The cheaper power box failed and shorted everything out and killed the motor. It had just enough altitude to get going straight in.
Its comments like this that help me keep going. I am so glad you like the videos. Let me know if there is a topic in particular you would like to see or an area you think needs more detail. I've done it so long, its straight forward to me. It helps to get feedback from you guys.
