Isnt this a re-enactment of what happens if you do this? E15M stands for Every 15 MInutes. The CHP driving and drinking awareness program they do at high schools
The most SOBER and very cooperative drunk I even seen ! Nice that they allow him to change clothes in the backseat. When they first put him in the front seat ? 😆
…and changed clothes ! I’ve seen these “accidents” staged for schools; notice there is an assembled crowd. As a teacher, I was once “arrested” by drug enforcement officers as a demonstration.
I'm having trouble noticing if this is real, like a behind-the-scenes kind of thing, similar to that Jail TV program, or if this is just acting for an educational video. Either way, it's definitely educational, whether real or acting, for those saying they can get plastered drunk and still be fine. The guy here was only at 0.09%, which is only 0.01% over the limit, so not necessarily plastered, but the point stands.
Because he drank too much and he killed somebody. That was the end of his life pretty much what a tragic loss on both sides tragic for the person he killed and the driver, who is intoxicated so much so to tragedy’s
This is so fake I think its a warning to teens don't drink and drive he was put in the front seat he comes out the back seat with different clothes I think I was filmed in two days they just forgot where he was sitting
It's a mock event that police and other first responder agencies do around the country at high schools, usually around prom time, to show kids the realities of drinking and driving. The kid isn't really under arrest he's a student volunteer.
another, 'he slipped and fell' or 'it's on him, he became a threat while he was cable tied, we had to put him down' aka Police media answer, incl in the UK Met
Im very happy I don't live in the USA, Im very happy our system gives people a second chance and allows people to make amends and then get on with their lives instead of just locking them up for 20-30yrs
In this scenario, the kid killed somebody. Plus I think that this is just a staged arrest that was filmed for educational purposes. If this was a real arrest, the case would be adjudicated in the courts system. This video doesn’t depict the judgement or the sentencing.
Wish they could change the law to Premeditated Murder. If a drunk killed someone Drinking & driving! I Love that they do these ! As it can actually scare kids into realizing how easy they can end up in Jail
So folks have noticed some interesting details. Let's see if I can help you out. The suspect was probably transported to the ER to have his injuries assessed & treated if necessary. This is standard procedure for most agencies because the mechanism of injury resulted in death or serous injury to someone involved. Since there was a death involved, investigators may have taken the clothing he was wearing during the incident as possible evidence. From the ER he was transported to booking at the sheriff's office detention center where he was thoroughly searched, printed, & photographed. He was placed into a sobering cell to be isolated & observed for potential substance withdrawal or behavioral problems including self-harm. If convicted, he may be facing up to 10 years in state prison per California law because he was drunk driving when he killed someone making it gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated. If he is not convicted, he & his family, because of his young age, may face a wrongful death lawsuit which he is likelier to lose since the bar in a civil suit is the preponderance of evidence or 51% versus reasonable doubt meaning there's a 90+% chance of his guilt. A civil lose could ruin his &/or his family's finances indefinitely.
You hand the officer your driver's license you state you plead the fifth you refuse all tests when you call your family you tell them you're in jail and the bond you out, then attorney will guide them to the process any other questions they ask regarding the situation so I cannot answer those questions at this time cuz this is a recorded line that could incriminate me.
