Recorded in 1979 at the International Day of Children, with the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra backing them. The rights were given to the children's charity UNICEF forever...around 15 million so far. They wrote this one, 'Tragedy' and 'Shadow Dancing' for younger brother Andy, in the same afternoon! Check out the first song they used their high falsettos in...'Nights On Broadway', the 'Midnight Special live version, with Barry coming in low and strong, and Maurice singing the high, ending fills onstage that Barry did in the studio recording! Also 'Alone', for another amazingly high and harmonious hit...the video showing clips of them in studio, meeting people and goofing around when they were young is the best. 👍🏻

I was married one year (1977) before this was released in 1978. This would have been in my wedding too, but with them singing, at the reception. Love, love, love the Bee Gees. I am a black female, 68 yrs old, grew up with them. (A bit lengthy, but a must read.) The Bees Gees: (from left to right) Robin, Barry and Maurice (pronounced Morris) Robin (Dec 22, 1949 - May 20, 2012) passed away as a result of kidney failure. Maurice (Dec 22, 1949 - Jan. 12, 2003.) Passed as a result of a twisted intestine. He was in the hospital for 2 days. Barry said he had a heart attack, but the doctors still operated. Maurice and Robin were fraternal twins. Andy Gibb, the youngest brother, had his own successful career. He was 12 yrs younger than Barry. He and Barry looked so much alike, that they could had been twins. Andy passed away in 1988, at the age of 30. Lived a lifestyle involving drugs, and he had heart problems. The brothers wrote all of his songs. Barry (middle) stated, "I am the last man standing." He was born September 1, 1946. He has 5 adult children and 7 grandkids. On September 1, 2022, he and his wife Linda celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary. (They were married on his 24th birthday.) On a side note, the first born is their sister, Lesley, who was 78, January 12, 2023. Lesley didn't have an interest to be in the limelight, but she can sing. They wrote all of their songs, and songs for other singers, which they sang after the songs were released for the other singers. The brothers have a VERY IMPRESSIVE catalogue of songs!
