If I only had a large enough room, I'd have this exact same speaker/sub combo. Superb!!!

Great video Greg and a nice presentation of Todd's journey towards audio nirvana. He's done a beautiful job and is to be congratulated for all his time, effort, and planning to get to this point with this wonderful room and system. The SVS subs were a great addition and seem to complement the Magnepan's very well. Fun stuff!

Impressive Greg. Looks wonderful and sounds even better. I'd like to see you feature other segments like this one, from time to time.

Great video/content and concise presentation. I love his setup and room (great job!). It sounds really good through YT. It had though been interesting to hear more complex music with more phase and vocals :) I have owned 3.7i's too (and 8 more pairs of Magnepan), but they are tricky to setup and was a bit thin in mid-bass (vocal chest and "slam") for my taste, but perhaps not matched with my equipment at that time so I had to move on... But the scale, height and depth - oh boy! Cheers!

Absolutely gorgeous setup your friend has! Adding subs for the Maggie’s is a huge plus. Even though I never heard a Maggie, I’m sure the subs bring more depth and warmth to the soundstage. Happy Listening!

It’s very difficult to integrate a dynamic sub to planar speaker. Almost every single time you’ll get disjointed sound that sounds like a slow ponderous subs are on.

Wow Todd has certainly dropped a lot of coin there but some very smart choices have been made throughout I hope he continues to have many many years of musical bliss.... Of course there will always be somewhere else to go to.. But for now it's a system and room to be enjoyed to the max for sure.

Ah! The Magnepans! The 12 foot horn and the 8 foot guitar! All sounds wonderful specially when 9 foot tall Tony or Frank begin to sing! So lifelike.

LOL! The only thing your comment makes perfectly clear is that you have no experience with properly set up panels of any kind, Maggies, Soundlabs, Alsyvox, etc. Honestly, some of the larger horn speakers, like some of the bigger Acapella or Avantgarde speakers will create that larger-than-life image and staging. But that isn't an issue with any of the point 7 series Maggies, which you'd know if you'd ever heard them...
