When any Error codes pop up try resetting the unit at your many breaker panel. I was away for four months. During this time we had record lows and several power outages. Upon my return the heat pump on the 3rd Dometic Penguin unit showed an E4 code. My first instinct was to call for service. My second was to attempt resetting at the breaker panel. Tripping of the breaker did the trick. It's been four days with temps in the low 40s with overnights in the 20s. During the day I heat the unit with heat pumps. When temps drop below 38 and during the overnight the CheapHeat furnace add-on provides the heat. The only LP I use is for the Truma on demand water heater. There was nothing I hate more than lugging around 40lb LP bottles and climbing a ladder to reinstall on the poorly situated LP locker once refilled every few days. Now thanks to swapping out the old water heater and installing CheapHeat I refill the LP once every 9 to 12 weeks. Cheers!
