Dang it..... wish it was 1/10 scale! If they did not want to make a 1/10 scale they could have made it 1/12 so it would be a bit bigger I think it would have been a lot better.
I to wanted a 1/10 scale too. But based on the feedback....maybe LOSI will put one out in the future? I mean there are tons of people who said they wanted a 1/10 version. I guess we will have to wait and see...
As we were running the JRX2 mini on the track I was thinking the exact same thing... the track is the perfect size for those 1:16 scale LOSI's.. Thanks for the comment and support.
That's Awesome. I was racing a Big Brute back n the 80's and always liked the Losi's. They were the talk of the crowd. The Team Associated was a bad car too.
that 5 link suspenion is at home on your type old school track. smoooth just like the original gil losi jr. design. now we know gil losi jr. is inside the horizon building. now we need another retro ranch pit stop. epic
Is it weird that when you did the slow-mo jump I said to myself, "Man that is beautiful". This is the first time I have seen a manufacturer do something like this. 100% accurate to the original. Already ordered one. May order another. Let the mods begin!
@@tallguygaming409 I seriously tip my hat to the Losi team for doing this. Such an intelligent move business-wise. Go for your core/original market and you will win. Just amazes me and I am so thankful!
That fridge scene took us back!!! SUNNY D! Thanks for the great video and glad you got to enjoy it... love the track. What do people think... send them 2 more and let the whole family have fun?!
yes .... i dont know if i get to vote being in the family and comedy writer on the show as well as stupid characters haha. if my vote counts ill have my other alter egos vote as well. thanks for giving us this opportunity it was better then expected and wow it was fun
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to review the Losi JRX2 mini. We are super happy that you enjoyed the video. We wanted to make it as fun as possible and really appeal to the race fans of the late 80s and early 90s so we thought we should add something from that time period to the video. We were thinking of doing a race video where we could have all 3 different body styles race against each other.
That looks like a really nice car, and cool tribute to the original, which I unfortunately never knew. No idea if this is something I'll buy, but at least the video was nice and your silly 80'ies stuff was good fun as usual!
Sure does and its okay because as of right now it doesn't qualify for a race class. Harry and Phil ordered so maybe we will do a race and probably use the Limo that comes with it cause I don't want to spend more money and try to find another type of battery that fits it...
he shoulda gave it to me but ill just buy one and beat him with mine every race we do haha. i made sure to crash his hard so it has problems come race day haha jk
Just found your channel yesterday! I think vintage R/Cs are awesome and you inspired me to dig out my dad's old LaTrax Mustang II Cobra II, circa 1978. Unfortunately it doesn't work at the moment, but maybe one day I'll change that. He also has a Nikko Dictator II somewhere buried in his basement (oh, how many times I broke that when I was a kid...my poor dad barely had enough patience to keep it running hahaha). But, it's thanks to that car that I got into the hobby in 2003. Hoping I can find it!
Thanks for the comment and glad you enjoyed the video. Yup, a few people said the same thing about getting rid of their original....I think you'll enjoy the 1:16th though....
Really nice looking, i like the blue one the most here myself. They could probably make a body for the xx or xxx while using a mix of the mini-t, mini-b & these new jrx2 buggies with a new set of rims & a body probably.
I remember the 10th car back in the day! I wanted one! My current fave is the Losi 8 mini...fast, 85kmp all day on 3s....modified to handle it! I'd love to offer up the Losi 2wd 1/16th with a similar set-up on 2s. Oh by the way.....you have some of the best vids! Thank you.
Totally rad! I am definitely going to pick up one of these when they get to my local hobby shop. May try to talk our local track into a class for these! Thanks for the video!! Love the retro vibe.
I agree. As we were filming I thought the same thing. Harry ordered one and Phil will probably order one to. We will race them at some point and point it out as a video...Thanks for the support.
I have been so excited about the Rc10 rere’s. I have the mini 2 and T. I wish they would have gone the other way with these and went 1/8 scale. All the old guys would have felt like a kid again with a bigger version.
4:18 cut straight to the unboxing! Now Losi needs to make a brushless version! I wish they had made this brushless from the get go! I'll buy one then, even though I have a brushless mini B already.
Cool car. I bought one yesterday at my lhs...war there for a replacement part for a Kyosho and found this on the shelf. It was an impulse buy so I got lucky to find it. It's my first buggy.
@@tallguygaming409 honestly, mine will probably end up as a shelf queen. Who knows....maybe it will make an appearance at our local carpet track. This thing might out do the mini-b
Great video, that mini JRX is so so cool might have to invest in one when they release them in the UK . Looked to run very well on the PR race track as well :)
We run a Mini B spec class at our indoor carpet track in the winter. This will be the new spec class at my personal outdoor track as soon as we can get them.
This is cool! I had a Jrxt back in the early 90's and converted it into a Jrx2. I still had it a few years ago but because I wasn't in the hobby anymore I gave it away. I'm now getting back into it and wish I kept it.
Thats too bad.. I did the same thing as I gave away an rc10 championship edition to a friend. Wish I still had it..... Well, now is your chance to get a small version... thanks for your comment and support.
Just ordered the red and black ones. I still have my original ones from way back when I raced in the early 90’s. Hopefully they will do a 1/10 re-release too. Thanks for the videos!
They will not release a 1/10 scale JRX2. It says somewhere on the box that they didn't do a full size so it wouldn't hurt the value of the original cars.
A mini JR-XT can't be too far behind. I hope. I have two vintage JR-X2s i picked up just before the vintage market took off. This will make for a really cool race series.
