YES! So very happy to see a racing video again. The trucks are absolutely perfect for some old school parking lot racing. This is how we did things back in the day! The paint is on point bud.
Thanks. Yeah I have a few more vids like this lined up for the future.. Eventually, Phil will be taking over but until then.... I'll show a few here and there...
Hey Roc! We all contemplate it... perhaps one day.. maybe spring... we shall see.. In the meantime.. I gotta get out to SI and check out that hobby shop by you. I keep telling my wife about it and how I want to go... she just rolls her eyes lol...
Awesome stuff, love the truck by the way! I race a Fat Fox truck at my local club here in the UK, we're allowed hop-ups, but I haven't gone too crazy, Steering turnbuckles, CVA dampers, alloy centre propshaft (kit one is terrible) with alloy diff cups, and hex head screws. I've got Rush yellow inserts in the tyres, backed with M chassis hard foams, seem to work extremely well on carpet to be honest. Keep the truck videos coming!!
Thanks Barry. These fly around the Fender Bender speedway so if we were to hop these up and make them faster, there would be carnage on the track lol... wait till you see some of the race videos with our faster RC's....
@Total Tamiya Rc No problem mate. Our next race meeting is the 5th January, we usually race every Thursday night at Barnwell Middle School in Stevenage :)
Thank you for the shout out decals were worth the effort they came out great and looks even better on the track can't wait to get back into a rhythm of some race days and race vids!
Look at you going all fancy with an actual timing system. FWIW I would take the winning truck to tech inspection, it seemed visibly faster than the rest.
😀I have said this since we got them but the only difference is mine came with a TBLE-02S ESC and the others came with a HW 1060. Both legal but not sure if that can make that much of a difference? Its not my driving skills, I know that a much.
@@scottnorton6834 All trucks are built right out of the box.. I assume all them came with the same size pinion... but if someone changes it who'd know... other than visually seeing the truck boogy down the straight away faster. Gareth does use some pretty good LIPO's though.. Higher discharge more PUNCH
Funny how different tracks/regions have a BIG following of Euro trucks and some are non-existent. We had a handful show up at HOD a few seasons ago, but now nothing. Great video! Love to see the racing is back.
Watched the 2022 world championship 1/8 nitro buggy yesterday. I would perhaps claim that the expertise level was higher there than here...? Hehe. But I would have come last if I joined you guys, so keep up the good work. Fun to watch! The TT-01 chassis on a truck seemed wrong to me because of the narrow ( single) rear tires and 4WD. But I must say they looked really good on camera.
Yes I Airbrushed this one. I haven't been airbrushing as much as I'd like to ... but I have a buggy that I'm going to do a scheme that I have in mind.. some bodies I have custom painted too. Just had a whole bunch come in...
Everything is stock. Thats the rules.. But I see what you are talking about. Regardless, these are still a blast and super fun.. If we were racing for real competition and allowed to upgrade parts then I'm sure we would upgrade the steering and servo saver too..
