Absolutely stunning truck that paint job is superb😍 I’ve not took much notice of this truck because I haven’t seen a decent looking one yet and I was never keen on the box art but yours completely changes my views👍
It looks fantastic Ari!! I don't blame you for not going with a faster motor, no need to wreck that fantastic body! It looks like a bunch of fun to run around with just as it is! I have been tempted to try and order from Euro RC but figured with the shipping cost and waiting for weeks it would not be worth it but it sounds like you got yours crazy fast!!
Hey Keith, thanks. I was looking for something a little different to add to my collection as well as being able to play around with it.. These are really fun!
Thanks. Yes I wasn't really a fan of this truck to but I was looking for something different to play around with and glad I got one. I Had a blast with it.
I remember in the 80s, when I began in the hobby, bearings were 30 bucks, too! That was for standard 2wd buggies! Well, not much has changed in bearing technology, so it's good prices didn't go crazy.
WOW that's an Awesome Body I thought about getting one of these but I'm not sure witch body style I want. holy smoke that a lot of gears. Where did you get that painting of the lunch box painting that a cool looking painting with Vaness sitting on the tire
I like what you did with the Konghead. It looks great. I. got the school bus. I thought the school bus was different. I did set-up the 4 wheel steering. I also got the clear chassis and colored internal gears. I did also get bearings, which there are lots. I also added oil filled dampers too. Thoughts?
I love the idea of the clear chassis with the colored gears. Perhaps something I'll do in the future but not sure. I really didn't want to sink anymore $ into this other than bearings and the body. I think the 4WS is fun... again something I might do in the future. These things are a blast and I think you'll love yours...
@@RCRetro I got a cheap Amazon brushless motor for it. It has a lower KV rating. I was concerned that too much power might mess up the gears. I got the brushless mostly because it was blue and would match the Tamiya shocks which are also blue. I got a Futaba computer radio which made the 4 wheel steering easy to set-up. Plus with that set-up I can change servo directions. The servos can steer together or in reverse direction with the flick of a switch. Thoughts?
