I’m torn. I had my ST1 which got totaled. Then some dude found it in a junk yard, rebuilt it, and made it an st3. Long story short I saw it on Facebook for sale with my same custom sticker on it and bought it for 12k. With todays market. I was offered 21k for a trade in. I have considered trading for a 2022 Veloster n. Or put 10k into the st and go big turbo. Idk how the Veloster mods are. Ends up being seem price in the end.
I noticed boost gage on ST only going half way. Thought with E30 it would peg that thing. Something doesn't seem right. Almost appears the ST is running stock boost
Good content guys! For tire suggestion I’ve been driving on BFGoodrich g-force comp 2’s for a couple months and so far I love them! Previously I had Bridgestone Potenza’s and those were very poor in wet conditions, overall not as impressive as the BFGoodrich.
i have a 2016 FoST ST1, FBO/e30. I can assure you even with decent tires, anything in second and even third is useless...i get tire spin at 40, 50, 60, doesnt matter. My guess is Im around 440-450+ torque...300+fwhp...so we have a great set up on a track and the back roads, but our quick spool and lots of torque dont do us much on the highway in high-speed drags. I definitely want more top end but dont want to change up the stock fueling at this time... good pulls though, its good to see where you're at for a baseline, then see how the upgrades help out!
@@kingGfour plenty of people have, fbo with E30. It’s the absolute max though. Many do only get 280’ish, but they’re higher elevation, on 93, crappy tunes, etc. but the k03 is capable of putting out 300whp
