I really needed to route the wires very carefully. Otherwise, like you said, the alignment was not easy.

Best glue tip i know is 99% Acetone for super glue. But on the plastic on our models it melts & destroys it very easy

Oh man, I just bought this truck and I love the looks of it. However, upon opening the box, I noticed that the dash had come dislodged during shipping, and the battery was also floating around inside the cab. I managed to squeeze the battery out of the hood very carefully, but the dash requires me to disassemble the truck to reinstall. The manual that comes with this truck leaves a LOT to be desired. I was unable to find any tear-down manual or videos online of how to disassemble the truck to fix the dash. I am very glad I found this video, but now I'm really upset the dash wasn't in place, because this disassembly process is quite tedious, and I do not want to break anything or lose any screws.

Man that is totally a bummer! I am sorry to hear that. The foam makes the truck safer in shipping but it also means a drop is quite jarring.

@@AMPROEngineering Absolutely, I don't fault FMS for it. Their packaging is some of the best I've ever seen. I'm not looking forward to dismantling the truck, though lol. I'm nowhere near as confident as you are.

Why not paint the body from the inside with silver then black and the yellow will pop even more, or white then black.

That’s looking really good, I personally love the fms 1/18 scale rc’s. I got the k10 and have built it up quite a bit, it’s been a blast building it and detailing it all out too. Keep up the good work and can’t wait to see that Toyota finished up.

It was worth the wait for this update. The paint job on the bed really worked to keep the light from shining through the sides. The paint scheme for the exterior is great. The light buckets look good 👍. But now we have to wait for the interior upgrades. Such torture!

Thank you! I did not want to repaint the truck since the paint was really nice so I think I made it work. Sorry for the interior delay! It will be up soon! I did not want a 2 hour episode!
