Thank you so much, Sir! You really saved me and my wife from this frustrating situation. Now we can listen to our audio messages via the car's system. God bless you immensely for sharing your knowledge with the world. Kind regards, Zents & Helyn
I've been trying to set up my bluetooth on this car for a year and a half. I had no idea the stupid toggle/button to program went up and down, left and right. I couldn't believe it. Almost two years and had no clue it did that. Finally paired!
Maaaaan I'm tryna tell ya. This just save me a headache. I bought my car 3 days ago and been wrecking my brain. I'm up and running now appreciate you brotha. Because it felt like I needed the Davinci Code to figure this out.
Thank you for this video. I just purchased a used 2010 E350 and the one thing I lacked was BT Audio. I tried to add BT receivers in the glovebox via the cable but no luck. This worked and the quality is great!
I found this video l got out of bed in the middle of the night turn off the alarm head outside and try it out IT WORKSSSSSSSS now l in my car listening to some Bob Marley thank you so much !!!!!!
Thank you mate, very helpful. Youd think a company like Mercedes would have a real smooth, simple, easy way of connecting BT. Shocking system, much appreciated 👍👍👍👍👍
So this is what he says to do in the video: 1) hold the buttons (hangup) (1) (#) at once. 2) a UI menu will appear and go to HW setting 3) go to HU parameter and switch BT Audio to ON 4) scroll down and press ‘END’. 5) go to Tel and disconnect all phones from the list/delete the list 6) go back to Audio and see if the ‘Connect BT Audio’ is available
In the end you have to click and hold the ON button for at least 10 seconds so it restarts the Comand then all of these settings will apply and it will work!
Thank you so much! Now I can take the Aux cord back 😂 Which you can just plug it in the aux port in the glovebox, but it bends the cord. Your technique is much better!! I watched the vid first and then disconnected my phone before starting, but it still didn't do it. One commenter @soysaucesoya said to hold the "on" button for 10 seconds to reset the command unit and then it will pop up. And by George it worked 👍🏽😃
You are wonderful. The key was definitely to de-authorise my phone from Bluetooth then re-authorise. Sure enough the Bluetooth music streaming option popped up as an option. Well explained in your video thank you very much. Cheers from New Zealand. Tony.
Thank you from Russia! I will try this trick on my SL350(2009). And guys, don't forget that in late 00-s and early 10-s Bluetooth options, wireless usability and all that stuff like CarPlay etc. was not quite developed like it is now. 2010 - it's just two years after iPhone 3G access to market. Nevertheless, that doesn't fully justify MB in this strange case ))
Start playing music before you autoconnect, if you get "Track" instead of bt audio paused, you will be able to have full controls. If you get "Audio Streaming" you wont have playback controls through the car but you will have sound settings. If you get "bluetooth audio paused" use the comand knob to press the play icon and you get about 10-15 seconds to interact through the car.
Thank you for this, it works!! I didn't have to delete any telephones but just needed to hold "ON" button after I did this all and after it restarted, bt audio button appeared!
I have an E250 CGI-March of 2010 and the top line of the menu on the screen is missing. I only have the bottom one which says sound, info and presets. How can I get the top line?
Been frustrated connecting my mom’s car! Geewiz. Thanks for this. I was running out of commands to try. I look forward to trying this solution tomorrow! 🙏🏾 Thanks for sharing!
