1999 BMW E36 M3 with S54 (328 whp SAE5) at 2540 lbs with fuel and driver (estimated - need to re corner balance). 245/40/17 Hoosier A7 (1st event). Getting more and more comfortable with the aero as well as getting a better idea of how to use it appropriately. Been making small tweaks here and there and think we are getting close! A lot of work left to do but I know that 1:45 is right around the corner. I see a relatively easy 0.5 seconds on the table in this lap with a good portion of it being in sunset which was just a terribly disgusting demonstration of pressure getting the best of me. Good enough for the outright CW13 record and first place but looking to obliterate this at finals in December. Excited with the progress made this weekend and a good time as always hanging out with everyone.

Man. Tight inside on throttle at off ramp, such a good run out. Cotton Corners looked slower than usual but you got a big exit and then that fucking speed through club corner to bus stop was insanity. Great work my friend.

Thanks man! Been working on this line through cotton corners, I am told it’s worth a tenth. Looking at the data it’s the exact same time. What is made up on braking zone is lost in the left turn. Going to keep working in this direction though.

110% SEND. Love it! - Dude says "I want to be the first in the 46's." Runs a 46 and immediately says he wants to be the first in the 45's. Awesome meeting you that weekend. Awesome driving, and incredible car! How do we convince you to come to VIR?!? :)

245 square is quite a bit smaller than what the other b1 guys are running, obv its not hurting you. Is it adequate for the weight of the car or would more tire improve things? I.e. 275s on an 18x10 wheel?

I would say that 245 is adequate. However, more tire on the car would help. I think if I were to go wide body, an 18x11 with 295-315 would be a game changer.

Great question. I use left foot braking in a couple spots to reduce time but I’m sure a sequential would bring the time down a good portion.

@@buccibur I looked at a lot of onboard driving, and many drivers don't use it, especially Swedish and German drivers. When I don't use it, the rear end is better felt when entering a curve and I add gas earlier on the exit, better concentration on the brake. Only the roll in speed is questionable. At the next race, I will test the lap time in training without heel and toe.
