Rukh-Shana Kitaka has excelled in two careers: corporate communications specialist and celebrated media personality. She received numerous awards as a prime-time news anchor, including the "Best Female TV News Anchor Award."
Felix Kitaka is a self-taught software engineer who dropped out of university in 2009 at nineteen, determined to show the world that one could succeed without a university degree. In 2021, he was hired as a Senior Software Engineer for a San Francisco-based tech company, proving alternative paths to success exist.
Married in 2021, we now share insights on our podcast 'The Kitakas' and our book 'The Woman’s Bait.' Based on Christian values, our content seeks to inspire hope in healthy, thriving, purpose-driven marriages.

Thanks for sharing. I think its easier to solve all the marital issues if both parties are willing to stay married and love their marriage. And its important for people to Note that marriage is God's work. and its a union that is shaken more frequently but when you know your why, the rest falls into place with faith.

Here are a few tips you can try with the help of the Holy Spirit. 👉🏽Pay close attention to what your partner is saying before responding 👉🏽Prepare Incase you need to discuss at length so your conversation is richer. 👉🏽Seek for clarity than assuming what your partner is communicating 👉🏽 Practice Empathy by trying to understand your partner’s perspectives and feelings. Empathy can help you connect with others even if you struggle with verbal communication. 👉🏽Practice makes perfect. You will get better once you start Much love Julian

Thank you for this podcast. Its really insightful. Been following the kitakas podcast closely. In my opinion, i feel like mrs. Kitaka has been a very independent lady and in her career, paraphrasing , she was never ridiculed. So, having a small meeting in her mind prior to having a discussion with mr. Kitaka is something quite hard not to do. I for one am blessed with the kitakas podcasts

This conversation was hot😂 I feel, Mky Kitaka. Seeing that you are working together, It is also spiritual to give people good notice, so Mky Kitaka was right in my opinion. I see it as an issue ofworkmatess supporting each other to deliver well in that moment. Especially because you work together, the interplay being spouse and work mates most times may bring up extra collisions. While at that, I know for sure when I needed to wait on a confirmation in my spirit about something. In that moment, if Hubae appears to question my ability, I get agitated, yet in fact, all I needed to do was to understand that he asked because he cares.

…..or he may have asked to get you to a place of deeper interrogation. Working together does have its interesting dynamics esp when the emotions surge to the surface but it helps to remember you are on the same team. Sad thing is when emotions override, it takes a while to register and if you don’t reign them in a lot of damage can happen in that window! -RK

I.totally agree, too me actually leadership has many lonely corners😂 people around you can't even notice. But isn't it that the place where the guest is saying u can open up ko ka little, bse in reality u may not open up all but a breaking point means its time to pour out, not in tears ofcourse😂😂.

I agree with Mr. Kitaka when he said, it's not prudent to take your wife to the holy of holies, because she may not contain it. I think this is why the bible describes women as a weaker vessel. I think this is also the same reason why bus drivers don't like women sitting in the front seat. When it becomes to making "hard" decisions on the road, women will lose themselves.

so am now at the part of thinking for men, yes we might over do it because probably the incidences you have given the man space to think and act on their own it ended in doom, so every time you got to closely follow up on what his thinking, what his planning, and what he is doing, which is even more exhausting but better to deal with it than managing effects of a wrong decision or indecisiveness. only because you let your guard down.

Hey Sheila, I hear the frustration and I feel your need to avoid circumstances that may be avoidable when you step in. I have a question…. Several actually. How’s that working for you? How does that affect what / how you feel about your husband and how does that make him feel? Is it something that you think you can do for the rest of your marriage (if you are married)? -RK

@@thekitakas thank you for the reply, yes I am married ,it's very exhausting psychologically, and emotionally consuming for me, but no I don't think I have taken time to find out how it makes him feel , though I think his okay with it because now I don't have to blame him incase he thinks of something and makes a decision which goes south, just writing this down got me thinking I might have been the one who drove him into that space, because I might have constantly blamed him for the few times he thought of doing something, without my input n it probably didn't go as we had hoped for. No I certainly cant continue like this forever.

Interesting line of 🤔… but nope! My response/ behavior is not exclusive to Mw. Kitaka as I have recently come to realise. It shows up in different circumstances with different persons regardless of the position they hold. I being the constant factor, it then behooves me to examine deeper from where that comes - a journey I have set myself on as I type this response. -RK

Our behavior is a product of repeated patterns over time…. If you find that you constantly second guess yourself or have to properly package your communication to your partner then it’s in most cases as a result of how you were received or the reaction you got didn’t rub you the right way either positively or negatively, so you’re brains response is to avoid this feeling at all costs,……in other words it’s a traumatic response to an event that happened in the past…..you’d rather not deal for fear of feeling inadequate or judged
