Up there with Malcolm X Mohammed Ali, MLK, and all the greats who broke down those barriers for the rest of us and for all people to realise they have a right to equality.
@@dagodigs james 100% opened up motocross to a whole new demographic and broke down racial barriers. you funny for not realizing what james has done for the sport
@@deejthegreat7282 no your funny there has been plenty of colored riders Hispanic Asian just cuz he is the first black rider to win don't mean anything where are you at now? It's about skills!!!!!!!! That's why there ain't a black rider winning now!!! Skills he was fast!!! Color don't mean anything you gotta have the skills to win! Why didn't Malcolm win big championships if his brother was Malcolm x??? People like you who turn everything into a race deal are a joke 🤣🤣🤣
@@deejthegreat7282 he no doubt did there’s so many black riders that are extremely talented it’s just most of them can’t afford it or ever given the opportunity to ride on the dirt. I see a flock of yes mostly black riders ride in downtown Chicago and they ride great but it’s dangerous. If Cities were smart they would build a track in the city or something idk I know it’s hard. Besides his brother they are to my knowledge the only black superstar racers ever
And Nobody KNOWS his NAME!!!! The HATERS do!!! GO James BUBBA Stewart!!! Keep Doin you, Don't forget to tune in to BUBBA'S WORLD on SPEED & FUEL..... YOU TOO.... HATERS!!!!
Maybe not the goat record-wise but for speed and guts he is definitely the goat James Stewart always pushed himself to the edge of being out of control. He had a win big or go home attitude. He was the most entertaining motocrosser that I ever watched.
James changed the game and did experience some racism. I’ll never forget the nastiness his family experienced at Southwick. He will always be known as the “fastest ever.”
Do black people realize that support is all we need to excel at anything we touch? Just get a black guy into anything that's considered white and once he has the support, he's gonna turn that shit upside down and inside out. James Stewart did exactly that, he had his parents behind him all the way. No amount of talent can get u anywhere without that strong support structure, he had it, lucky guy. I remember watching motocross and all the hype was Ricky Carmichael... so many people have a claim to fame because of James Stewart. Like Usain Bolt, when that guy is in a race he pulls everyone to greater than they've ever dreamed they could be.
Absolutely love seeing James Bubba Stewart get the love and recognition he deserves. Imagine being the loser calling him names and flipping him the bird. Some no name, working in a dead end job while Stewart made a name for himself and becoming one of the GOAT’s and making millions for himself.
I love Bubba, he's one of my favorite riders for sure. But even in 2009 he was not the most dominant the sport has ever seen. Ricky Carmichael, Jeremy McGrath, Roger De Coster, Bob Hannah, and Heikki Mikkola were far more dominant in their days. At the same time, Bubba is one of two riders in the history of the sport (AMA) to ride a perfect season.
These guys are talking about his whole career. James was the most dominant amatuer rider in history, then moved into the Pro's and had similar success. Sure things slowed down at MX1 level, but he was still hugely successful.
KING jackoff, you seem to have a real hard on for Stewart haha. you pop up in the comments of almost every video of his on RU-vid. once again, read the context of the comment. dominant and amateur are used in the same sentence. Stewart destroys the rest in terms of wins here (more than Carmichael and much more than Villapoto).
Maybe the competition wasn't as good in every era. He had some bad ride situations, stuck on a 250 against 450s cuz Kawi didn't have one. He was stuck in a Yamaha that he could no longer win on. Still found his way to Suzuki to win yet again. Battled injuries and all he sent it harder took some punishment I understand if others won more but ya Bubba changed the game.
I remember watching him race that Y zinger back in the 90s. They use to drive a station wagon pulling a small trailer. Very nice people, and yes James earned everything he he has. What a great guy
ugh...... teflon434 really? what are you paid by the stewart family...... bubbas a has been.... if he would stop doing his melcom x crap befor all his motos i would be a fan theres no room for that in motocross. yeah he's fast but theres always someone faster and better.... just around the next corner.. and no its not a race thing its just not motocross....its not racing......
Ricky Carmichael is the best rider ever. He won 15 AMA championships (1st), 10 in Motocross (1st), five in Supercross (2nd); scored 150 wins (1st), 102 in Motocross (1st), 48 in Supercross (4th); had two perfect Motocross seasons; was never beaten in 125 Supercross;
Statistically 100 percent. But 99 percent of the time is James didn’t wreck he was winning. Both are hard to compare. Their is nothing on earth I can think of to compare them too
Ricky is a cheater and played racism games and cut off James to show support of his white spectators and supporters. Against all odds he’s the best during his career and time. Even in a predominantly white crowd the crowd respected and honored James! I love this Rags to Riches true story. He inspired us when we were younger black MX weekenders! Fair is something we are accustomed to; winning is!
You couldn't even step in as a lapper in the AMA mate. You'd be bitching about arm pump and wondering why the rest are jumping over you and roosting you in the corners. Move along "champ".
