@@stillworksandbrewing I just kinda skimmed through your channel more, it’s cool you made a hard seltzer video I’m gonna have to check that out. It’s pretty cool you’re homemaking some trendy stuff like that. In the future I would like to try my hand at distilling. Subbed.

I have always made corn liquor so i'm new at this whiskey making I've always herd once you put whiskey in a glass bottle it stops the aging process I don't know. THANK for the video keep um coming .

i think that the flavor keeps maturing with time yes you stop getting the flavor from the wood but it dose mellow out with time my opinion

Yo, Randy! Larry sent me. Excellent video! My thought is that oak sticks vs chips depends more on surface area of the wood than it does on weight. The chips are going to have a lot more surface area on the alcohol than the sticks will. Ipso facto, more influence on color and flavor. Somebody smarter than me can probably guess the ratio. Keep the videos coming!

I think you may be right but i did find that the oak sticks add a lot of raw oak and vanilla taste which i liked . thanks for watching

Randy.... really like your hands on videos. Would love to see you add more data information so I can replicate your processes. What do you proof down to before oaking? How long do you age before bottling? etc
