RC Retro thank you! I’m going to copy your setup. Have ordered the kit and brushless motor and ESC with 2S lipo. It’s about 8mm longer than a standard Nimh so hoping I’ll squeeze it in!
A friend of mine drove my Super Astute and was amazed at how smooth that brushless combo was. He buys cheap brushless set ups. Its super quick to. I have a video coming out later next week of my super astute racing against a Traxxas Rustler and Kyosho Mad Van on a ball field and you can see how much quicker mine is. Have fun my friend.
Great rc car just one question how long does the battery last? I had a tamiya fox with a techno tune motor powerd by a nimh 1900mAh 7.2 v 25 min quick charge 5 min run time and it was faster than my freinds RC cars LOL
Neon CS Racer Stock spur gear that came with the kit (cant recall at the moment the number of teeth) and I believe an 17 or 18 tooth pinion. Thanks for the comment and support.
