To be fair, some of the license turnover may not be entirely on EA. If Konami outbids them, or a club/league chooses not to sign on for whatever reason, that's not something they can control. All the presentation and mode walkbacks, though, those CAN be blamed squarely on EA.

Because EA designers don't care about details in game, only ultimate team is important. It's 2024 and all stadiums still don't have dynamic weather change. Fx moving sun position on halftime, or rain in first half and second rain's stop. Players body models still don't look natural. We have in cut scenes jersey moving physx but not in gameplay. Why?? We don't know.. Only EA knows best.
