When should a regular x tackle be used when advanced defending is on? I don’t mean the tactical foul, just the regular x? Or is stand tackle always better?

I have this problem idk what it is but whenever I try to defend a black screen just pops out of no where and I can’t do anything about it my players don’t move and I just get scored like that, what do I do about it

Is it me or fc25 is full of bugs? The R1 pressing cause your controlled player to run only 1 direction. When opponents are countering, the defenders don't bother marking anyone. Just walking. Like wtf?
