I have finally deleted this game and I won't be buying another EA football game EVER, I have bought fifa games since they released there 1st game so many years ago, but I've finally decided enough is enough EA have no loyalty to me so why should I keep buying their shit product and hope this year it's better!! I have prayed for years that somebody would rival fifa and make them make a better game but alas it's all about store packs !!! I'm going to now concentrate my efforts on my other main game which is r6 siege ( which I've been playing for nearly 9 years) fifa could learn a lot from this game!!!

When it comes to the "content creator civil war", i think we are gonna see a lot of fence sitters who will say things to be on both sides. And some small content creators be the radicals. We'll also see people who aren't even mad at EA for the state of the game but mad they couldn't take advantage of it. The latter is how I see Zweback. I see his reaction as being someone who isn't mad the issue happened, isn't mad at the gameplay, or EA overall. But mad he was too slow to cash in on the picks mistake. They fixed it while he was as he feels 1 win away from being able to cash in. Also you're right about FC Points. EA makes 1 bil a year off ultimate team. That separate from the game's unit sales. So so many FC points are bought by players to generate a billion a year.

I think it we ALL collectively stop playing for 1 day it would send a message to EA that we can stop the revenue stream at any point. Will 1 day make a difference to EA? Probably not much but it does send a message, and 1 day off the game would be achievable more than a long term boycott. I'd stop for 1 day and do some other shit with my time. i live in australia, i got up at 6am after tuning in to a sream and realising the picks were broken, i played up to 7-5 (im not the best player) trying to get 11, (5 draw quits) and i had the stream on in the backround while playing and halfway through the 8th win they release the X tweet that says thay patched it... my best red pick was Donnarooma..... In general, they gave themselves away and admitted that Mbappe and Dembele should not be in the awards (and it always used to be so).

There was a time when EA took a huge blow in the stomach when Pro Evolution Soccer came like a storm when the PS2 came out and FIFA went down every year. EA had to work around it and eventually came back by working on their gameplay with FIFA09. It took them almost 10 years to get back the spot. I guess we just have to hope that 2K could do it. I was hoping for UFL but as I'm a PC player and it's only console I can't hope for this one.

I've never bought them and I've played since fifa 18. If people stop spending on them, it'll force EA to make changes that benefit the community.

Not buying FC points is the best way to start let’s be honest. Content creators need to make money and stopping playing the game at this stage is going to just hurt the creators,financially, not EA. This isn’t a fix that will happen overnight but if you strangle their revenue growth throughout next year, that will make a huge impact. Also flood them with negative reviews to hurt their PR.

This is all well and good with everyone wanting to make a statement BUT the EUROs are weeks away and EA will make bank. Think of the 100s of 1000s of casual players who will load up, play and spank the cash. Vast majority will not have a clue about the Messi or Mbappe issues or even care... I agree that the game is a beta (especially on PC) and any IT company/developer would be ashamed to be associated with it, but we all still bought it and will buy the next one....

The way some of those channels glamorise and encourage impressionable young kids to gamble and spend money on packs is just awful. I get EA are just too damn greedy to ever remove the "pay-to-win" element but the game would be vastly better if it were purely based on coins and challenges to grow your team. Making season rewards much more balanced and fair so anyone at any time might suddenly pack something special.
