The reason why the gameplay is the way it is, is because of ultimate team...the children who play it dont want an authentic experience...they want easy goals...and lots of them...ea definitely do not want to upset thier legion of young gambling addicts.

its just me or since this frost byte engine got in scene the players seem to be skying on ice and their legs, oh my god, look like they are elastic like mr fantastic.

I can’t believe they remove the pre match Handshakes and line ups. As a career mode player it absolutely ruins the immersion and realism of the game

Just wish there was a realistic gameplay experience for offline players. I couldn’t care less about FUT

Fifa / FC's problem is that they have become a mammoth of billion dollar revenue, and when you have shareholders and such expecting you to match annual revenue projections there is no room for experimentation or significant change. You can make the game realistic with custom sliders, but the overall engine mixed with the DDA B.S. means everything is hinged on player stats and ranking to sell packs to little kids. Wu Tang said it... C.R.E.A.M. My biggest pet peeves are when playing with a particular team the speed and movement of my controlled players changes depending on the ranking of the other team. Using PSG against Man City suddenly my passes are moving like molasses. I can literally feel the system holding my players back in regards to speed, but then switch to a slightly lower ranking opponent and suddenly the lead boots are taken off and I'm free again to sprint at normal speeds and pass with integrity. The 45' minute expected goals when the CPU goes terminator mode are annoying. Your punished for not scoring a goal as opposed to bad defensive strategy and it's become predictable. The ping pong movement of the ball and unrealistic deflections so that the game can force some sort of narrative is super stressful. It's no longer a simulation, it's an arcade frenzy for a generation of Door dash, Amazon, Tik tok gotta have it now without any work ethic or patience. EA, make a futbol game where you literally can select simulation mode and the gameplay is like what we watch on the tele.

I haven't bought a new FIFA since FIFA 19 and switched to NBA 2K because they improve every year. I decided to watch the new FC gameplay because it was a long time ago and because of the next gen console I thought it was much more realistic. But nothing has changed at all! Has EA missed the last few years?

It was great seeing Kroos go through the net after the 4 th goal... They should call R. Madrid the Elasticos instead of Galacticos in FC 24... It looks like a waste of money again this year...

I like more the switch version, only because of the speed. The speed on the switch version is more slow, and for me that more realistic, than the speed of the other version…

Early beta versions were definitely different. Slower and more believable movement. EA shit in their pants again and released nothing more than a modified FIFA 23 at the end. They haven’t the balls to move on with this game. 😢

I stopped playing Fifa after Fifa 12 on the ps3. Coming back after 10+ years to see this gameplay it looks exactly the same as I imagined Fifa 12 looked like

If FC 24 had competition they would definitely push to a greater level by fixing the robotic gameplay and making serious changes. It’s the same game every year with just updated kits. Look at the defenders it looks horrible.

man the goalkeepers don't even dive in the air anymore since fifa 23, scoring goals is more easier to the point its not fun anymore, why even bother buying the latest fifa when the gameplay is terrible, you know its bad when you start thinking about buying past fifas than the current one smh

The ball is metal and their feet magnets..thank goodness I watched this video before buying it's the same Fifa game as the past...ultra unrealistic

Fifa its only playable offline with slow speed and exchanged gamplay sliders and manual controls...than its more slowly and realistic...

When you watch pes 21 you will see the ball often flicks up in the air in a realistic way when it's passed with pace and the ball slows down and looks to have some Wight to it. In fc24 it's like ping pong. The ball physics are rubbish.

Well seems like EA SPORTS FC 24 is just a bad game. They also removed pre match lineups like what they do from FIFA 2001 to 20.

Glad I watched this before downloading..Have noticed this has been on sale a lot..picked it up for £14..fancied some career mode on building a team like I’ve always done in fifa games..but after seeing this..I’ll pass..gameplay looks trash and after reading the comments seems fifa is dead and just FUT and kids..shame
