What is a center pivot exactly?

@@JohnMcLon-tt8il It’s a major problem with the physics that’s been carried through all the DiRT Rally games where the wheels are not actually in contact with the ground but rather the cars pivot about the center when you are turning, giving the illusion that you are sliding. This is way more noticeable on tarmac, especially the slower you go. This should not be the case. In real life, a car will steer with the front wheels, and pivot about the rear wheels. It is also the cause of the “wall of death” issue where if you accidentally touch a solid wall with the car, it is almost impossible to turn away from it, because the fact that the car pivots about the center causes the back of the car to push harder against the wall which acts like a lever to the front of the car and keeps you stuck to it. That can happen a lot in the Monte Carlo stages. Big reason why the physics are flawed, and all the supposed “rally drivers” saying that it is just like real life apparently are either not credible or have clearly just been paid to say that for marketing (or both) because this does not feel like how a car functions in reality, and you don’t need to be a rally driver to pick up on this… And in spite of RU-vid auto-hiding my comments after this one because it is absolutely awkward about posting any l*nks (so frustrating), I would suggest searching for a video by “Mrelwood Games” on the issue with physics in this game, because he gives a very nice graphical demonstration of what we mean by the “center pivot”. Just don’t blame me if it ruins your view of the game, because once you notice this, you can not unnotice it…

Least classic cars have proper performance unlike KT WRC where A110 somehow have tunnable Differentials 😂 and dont have stupid glitch ob throttle input that need 30% to car move like KT WRC so i still pick this over KT WRC imo
