You are forgetting the fact that a lot of simracers are adults, we need bug fixes, better vr support and a better game overall. Not some dumb livery in a rushed season rollout where the most of the base player won't get all the livery ever after buying the season pass. Oh and "NO" kernel anticheat => tis means uninstall, a game should never have those admin kind of rights on a device.
They are also doing the bug fixes and vr support along with this, they are not mutually exclusive, so why bitch about it? And you're talking about adults... Not everything needs to be addressed to you. There is more than enough to keep an "adult" engaged.
I feel like we did the survey, and they don't want to listen. Most of the people saying this want it to be more like Dirt Rally 2.0, more focused on racing and locales than just racing to unlock unofficial liveries. Also where is track ir?
Nobody is interested in new liveries. There are still shitty water splashes and rain, still problems with brightness on tracks. The career mode calendar is still hard to navigate (I want to see the calendar and plan my activities, not just pages with events). There is still no possibility to create and share championship templates with the community (and in this custom championships no day changes, so the start order is always the same). But yeah, we will spend another 3 months to create new liveries and generating "moments"
wrc generation calendar was more modern and smooth unfortunately, but our calendar feel old and there is a lot of "keep spamming rest to skip the week"

You can't seriously be expecting them to add new locations to this current game? They are gonna release the next annual installment of the game later this year. I have definitely played the game. Also the game isn’t going to be an annual release, it’s going to be a live service platform getting updates. It was mentioned in a survey that Cars and Stages could be DLC in the future. Clearly you haven’t paid enough attention lol
I think it's important to note that the basegame content was and still is very solid If you're upset about the fact that this isn't a live service title a'la COD, more power to you, but you probably should keep your eyes open for the 1 year anniversary where we might get our first paid content pack or whatever

Add simulation and realistic physics, as paid DLC if you'd like, as I'm quite sure this is not the core feature of the game at the moment and it was never meant to be since the beginning. The tarmac physics is from 10 years ago with just more grip. Whilst I'm driving it feels like I'm sliding or I'm in rails, there's very little weight transfer and cars are rotating on a central pivot point instead of real steering. And please fix the implementations of the unreal engine 4 in this game. Everything on Ultra, in 2024 looks like a PS3 era video game!
Tarmac physics… in DR 2.0 i csn drift with the rwd cars however i want… but in this game impossible to do a clean drifting with rwd.. too much grip, and if the grip went off the car is uncontrollable shit…
Final season right ? Game is improving. I guess it will be a standalone game with bigger updates. Hope the graphics will continue to get better. Give us some info for the future.

It's so stupid that you would feel better to pay for stuff that's already in the game to be released later. There is so much more in the game at a great price. Wake up. DR2 released with less than half the content.

Indeed they have a responsibility but from my viewpoint and the information I have, EA only helped Codemasters make the game better with a licence. They didn't intervene, gave them plenty of time to release and didn't force any bad policies in the game. It is the best product Codemasters could make. Rough around the edges due to new graphics engine (UE4) but future iterations will be better and better. Just credit where credit is due. I understand the criticism but EA isn't the problem.
Still tearing now? On ps5? That be unacceptable, that and too much pop-ups, stutters are a no-no. I notice also in replays cars dont seem to have suspension movement, just gliding like a cement block.

well i play both ea wrc and wrc generation, i play ea wrc only to complete the battlepass my main game is still wrc generation. ea wrc is not worth at all.

There is no damage on headlights. It's so bad because It's a rally game. On old Dirt Rally,10 years ago was better damage then this Wrc 23. It's a fucking arcade game. The thing is.. Codemasters understands what the playerbase wants.. EA absoluttely does not. And guess who the boss is... I was going to buy this as I just got my new sim rig. But adding a Kernel level anti cheat makes me not want to buy it on PC and from what I gather still poor performance on PS5.. Shame. And especially when you can just download FSR RBR for free... Why should I buy this??!

Dirt Rally 2... And I have 1500hrs on it so I know what I'm talking about... People don't want realism... They want games to tend to their driving style so they can flex and feel good about themselves... When do we get "sim" physics or physics mode instead of the arcade handling ? Not asking it to be as hardcore as RBR, but the behavior atleast should make sense... I guess this is all thanks to the new "EA dynamic handling system" which also ruined F1 24. Also this twitchy handling doesnt make it better for controller players as many believe thats the reason... No matter what device, driving feels best when its natural and as you expect a car to handle with common sense and physics in mind... You know something is wrong when the physics need to be altered to make it more accessible for controllers... Just means the studio is not up to the task of developing a good gameplay mechanic on controller... Controller behavior and Physics are two different things, if you have to alter one of those to make the other "better" you know something is wrong... But i really dont believe we will get any change at all... Sadly we are stuck with this grippy, snappy, unrealistic behavior in a game that could actually be good... Easiest solution, add a "realism" handling mode or a DR2.0 handling mode... Keep tarmac as it is (its an improvement over DR2) but reverse everything else to DR2 behavior... 🤷🏻♂️ Because whats important in a driving game ? The driving... You could build the nicest driving game on the planet, but as long as the handling sucks, the game will...
It feels ''meh'' at best. All they do is add more mediocre liveries and other boring stuff. And I bought this game on early access, So I should be able to use every season pass livery there is to season 5. BUT I haven't seen ANY new livery for me when I create a car or edit one. Not a single one. How do I get them??? I would like the retro one, But I can't see it.
This game no future to me. Because shit car handling/physic and damage effect so far from realistic that only my opinion..its sad because game looks quite good and stages specially gravel are fine but thats it..most important to me is realistic and enjoyable physic and damage i dont belive this game ever make it right
Meh. Sorry guys but you're only doing liveries for the three cars that in real life very few privateers run, none for all the other cars in game which have very few. And IMO 'Moments' continues to be a massive downgrade from the old dailies system and I have no interest in them. Will the patch add any new settings or options for game mode? Any way to tidy up the linear mess of a career?
bring me psvr2 compat and ill buy at full price. until then, any update may as well not exist. that being said im not a hater. wrc looks fun. I want to take it for a spin with my ddpro. but bro, its 2024. the psvr2 is a thing and gt7 proved you can get a god tier vr exp on standard hardware. the fact that there is no vr support yet, and the beta will be pc only is disheartening. I love rally and sims, but I wont give you a penny till psvr2 is supported. id rather just play dr2.0 if there is no vr.
unfortunately i dont think they will every add psvr2 support. if you have a pc though it looks like sony is releasing that adapter to make psvr2 work on pc, albeit with most of its feature set not included.
Physics feel awful , the force feed back is an absolute joke and now they want a Kernal level AC no thanks Uninstalled. EA ruins everything once again absolute idiots.
Too hell with seasons and liveries, it don't matter how my characther dresses because it's so rarley I see them, and there isn't much of needing too create custom paintjob since decals lacks. All I want and I believe some can agree too most or some things. New maps. New cars. New mode (Rallycross?) New decal options (make a text for your car is a great example) New parts for cars. Bug fixes. Asphalt? I am a godamn bambi on ice.. Where is "freeplay" as Dirt 2,0 had? It was a great feature too try out some cars, and how they handled? I know EA didn't create that one, but when hasn't another company not copied or completly stole something from another? Don't know if anyone else has same problem? But brakes? I drive through a stage, I have same style, gas and brake.. sometimes the brakes just locks up after just slighlty touching the brake or it doesn't do as I want.. I go "Ohh my brakes must be breaking) and then at service, nope.. all fine? Is it a skill issue or is it a bug?
