also Martial, I play my career a lot and I found out that you literally can’t beat that first fighter, you can’t even sub him, that bar just doesn’t go up and if you get close to knocking him out it won’t let you
@@aso2954 I just got my 9 fight win streak snapped by the black beast via a vicious flash ko uppercut while I was going for an overhand. These legendary AI ain’t no joke man…
Calling it now, I’ve played through career mode on legendary an ungodly amount of time your only trouble will be getting out of the AIs super sayian level joint submissions.
I cant beat dan ige on my legendary playthrough. If he touches me once I get rocked and then when im blocking high he shoots a takedown and Im stuck on the ground. I almost beat him a few times cause i can get in a good groove of stuffing takedowns but then he touches me with one hook and Im done
@Joshua Smith if you go to the watch tapes on Costa he has an effect where he’s a juggernaut for the first 2 mins of every round, same thing with Blachowicz and Jiri you have to basically run from them early in the round or get one shotted by everything, whoever put that in the game is a demon.
I'm already Pumped for this Series!! Hadn't played a Video Game in 10 years until I saw your Career Mode on UFC 4 in 2020. Now I have a PS5 and Love this Whacky UFC Esports Community. Thanks for listening to your Subscriber's who wanted to see you do this again.
Havent even watched but i know this series gonna be goated. Martial Mind always gonna be the greatest ufc youtuber, once esbc comes out probably best sport fighting game youtuber in general, keep this shit going Martial you're one of the greats💯
Have done this to get the legendary GOAT accolade thing, finished undefeated. My advice is to constantly block the body rather than head when fighting any wrestler otherwise they will morph you into a takedown, secondly level up clinch striking, again when fighting wrestlers if they can’t take you down they will just clinch spam so be ready to do damage in the clinch then they will stop the spam, do this for two rounds and you get the K.O easy enough.
Also there should be a coach Davis career mode in UFC 5, made by frost bite engine... up until his devastating injury and once he retires that’s when the actual Career mode start with his first fighter he coaches
hey Martial, quick tip when you train with fighter's to learn a new move. don't do the move right away, work on other things first then finish with the move you are learning to gain a lot more exp on the moves you uses in that current training session. works in regular training too except the heavy bag training.
This is my main mode of play in UFC 4, I'd hate to think how many hours I've put into Legendary Career mode lmao It's definitely a pain in the ass, all I'll say is don't throw naked left hooks to the body AT ALL, also FEINTS, it freezes the AI, that and good distance control will be enough to deal with most striking AIs For training here's a few tips, knockdowns and knockouts progress your strikes XP the quickest so if you have the opportunity to abuse the AI in training take it When you learn moves, the entire spar counts towards all strikes, for example if you were close to leveling up front teep, you can learn a move, throw teeps against a relatively easy AI to level your strike and then learn the move as well Imo boxing training is the easiest sparring AI... I almost never do wrestling or BJJ unless I've KOd my other sparring partners Footwork is the most important stat imo, it's the first thing I max because it allows you to avoid strikes and mitigate damage, second to that would be stamina and then your build of choice (punches, kicks, takedown, etc) Also for training missions that say to land body hooks or uppercuts, it's much easier to do this in the clinch, sometimes if you clinch with the AI immediately it will stand there and allow you to throw until you've completed your sparring goal This is also a good way to farm level one clinch stats, spamming clinch entries also levels your Thai clinch and clinch moves, all these things are easy ways to get points towards leveling up Any level one move is easily farmable so go for those when you aren't close to leveling anything important Hope this helps your training, much love
I had the most fun when I built an ungodly character. He couldn't submit anyone worth a shit, but he didn't need to. Every fight ended with a well-timed spinning back kick. Maxed out my kick power and speed, could get my kicks off in the blink of an eye.
I literally just started like my 127th career mode recently & actually been having a little fun but I hope UFC 5 goes to the next level career mode wise cause I enjoy that game mode
they need to make the training game modes similar to undisputed, aswell as the attribute upgrade similar to it. there’s no reason why i only do muay thai training and i can choose to upgrade my wrestling 😂😂
As someone thats done alot of career modes... on all difficulties in every weight (for different videos) My limited advice more for fighting the legend AI in career, not advice on the game, as you are far better than me. Would be: avoid being reckless when sparring with AI in training (boxing/kickboxing), they try to take your head off, and often causes unneeded injuries. avoid being put into JOINT subs vs the AI, chokes are easy but SOMETIMES the joint subs feel broken against legend AI. And I've found when fighting a wrestler, the TDs become obvious even on legend, so throwing the knee can cause a straight KO. This is just from my experience, not saying this is the perfect advice, just what I've had in legend careers. (And if you want a title fight quicker when in the UFC, I recommend once you break top 10, decline every fight you can, they tend to give higher and higher ranked opponents, I once won the belt at 12-0 in the UFC) But i'm excited to follow this career!
You have one of the best personalities out of any game streamers I’ve seen. Just seem like a genuine good dude. Thanks for the best ufc gaming content!
A UFC story shouldn’t be that hard. It could center around your character going through a season of TUF, and it should end once you have a UFC contract. That journey has a naturally dramatic story that you don’t have to force. If they allowed the player to make simple yet impactful decisions, like fighting with a injury or fighting a disrespectful fighter in the house, it could be an immensely immersive experience. I wish more sports games that have a story would actually write a storyline or cut them altogether. 2k14, 2k16, and Fight Night Champion are the only good stories in this genre IMO. Most of the 2k stories have been cringey/generic filler stories about nothing, or they’re cringey generic filler stories with contrived drama.
I searched up UFC in the Xbox game pass search bar and downloaded the game and started playing it yesterday I'm already the UFC lightweight champ! It's so fun for the people who don't have the game i highly recommend it
Bro I have waited so long for you to make a new career! YES! Please play this all the way. Until your player needs to retire :) If you play undefeated and with no major injuries, you should be able to last like 100 years :D So pumped for this... IIIIIIIT'S TIIIIIIIIIIME!!!!!!
Do not forget to spend your evolution points to upgrade your fighter. I believe that was how this games career mode went where the purple points were evolution points that you could put into yours stats while you could improve your moves by using them more.
Be cool if the guy you fought in the first fight progressed with you. It would be nice to see him later down the line and actually have a fighting chance against him haha!
Not that I've done the career mode in. Ages, but some training would be useful to a degree. Perhaps the way to get the most out of your training xp, which to me tends to be rocking them with whatever strike you plan on but without knocking them out
Martial to get better ground transitions , in training just take em to the ground and posture up and repeat over and over it’s gonna look funny but trust me it’s the easiest way to get transitions reversals, the only way I’ve found to get sweeps to go up and other stuff just to help with the wrestlers
just started my own imported fighter career mode to play along while i watch lol i felt like doing a GSP style career mode trying to do my best to replicate his fight style
New here, Just wanna say I love the channel and content. I literally just got done watching the first Career play through which was very well done and hope to see more great fights on your way to the top.
I just got done watching your Career Mode from 2 years ago & then I see you started doing this series. Awesome. I hope Jim Miller doesn't become a problem again LOL Hopefully they fully patched all the clinch bullshit so we can see some great, quality stuff. Really looking forward to it watching all these!
Show training as it shows how poorly EA made it. Opponents using kicks during boxing training, always backing away, no pads so you end up knocking them out. The list goes on.
You definitely don't want the fights done quick early. Go for all 3 rounds and get as much xp and points for when your actually in the ufc. Edit: that didn't work out huh
It’s weird how that in ufc 4 career you usually go on to have the best career ever. But you never meet brown (the first guy) ever again. If he could make light work of you he could easily do it to everyone else. EA should of done something with brown. For example he’s the champ and you fight him to seek revenge or something along those lines
the intro really is a testament to how lazy EA is. They could’ve shot one scene that says “and he ended up winning the fight”. but instead of putting in a few hours of work, they just made it so you can’t win.
Me watching martial helped me get better at UFC 4 I'm so much better now than I was before I learned some tips off my opponents as well martial best thing I learned was not to go in swinging first round monitor what strikes they like stay in 1st round with little strikes then 2nd round go aggressive now I know their weakness and exploit it I usually start by jabs body roundhouse occasionally and alot of leg kicks
Wow, that is just a quick thing. I was just playing ufc 4 career mode, after a long week of getting assignments done, and doing well on them, and working my butt off, because college. But the moment as I was playing, I get a notification from mr martial Mind. Also playing ufc 4 career mode and restarting it again. Wow I guess both things can happen at the same time. 😇
Please don't skip all the training @martialmind .. We wanna see your different attacks level up, how you spend your points, which perks you're getting and if you get injured while training. its all part of the experience bro, give it to us :)
I would like to see when you invite fighters to learn moves, plus if you use the entire time alotted to just spar with them, and then in the last minute actually use the move, you can level your other moves.
Didn't know who Jim Miller is but I kept seeing the name in the comments and until I looked it up I was like "Isn't that the fake name John Marston uses at the end of RDR2?" But that was Jim Milton
I made a series similar to this on my channel except I made the challenge that I couldn't use any of my skill points to upgrade my character and It's definitely do-able.
alright lads just like this journey of career mode my quest begins, the only logical action to take after seeing the response to my initial request, Day 2 of asking for a “thing” showcase ( technique, footwork, head movement, etc)
