**Quick Reminder** Why aren't you already listening to Pato's music? He's a really cool guy who loves creating songs and remixes (just like the one in the intro!). Here is the link to his soundcloud and make sure to leave a comment on one of his songs- soundcloud.com/user-137460526 Hey guys! Here is my first "factual" video. "THE BEST RESULT OF EACH COUNTRY EVER"... yeah. Anyway, the act showing is the act with the best placing and most points. For example, if Georgia got their best result (9th place) twice, in 2010 and 2011. The entry in 2010 got more points and that's why it is here in this video... SHINE! Random Thoughts: -How do you like the new intro? -Sorry I haven't been active the past few weeks because I was on vacation without wifi:/ -Also, that feeling when San Marino is better than your own country:/ :D
Morocco 1980: So... yeah, that was a thing. Let's never do that again. San Marino 2014: Yay, finally qualified! Juries in 2019: Sure, San Marino, but this time, you won't do better. San Marino 2019 says Na Na Na.
is one of the best songs of eurovision is the song with greater margin with the second place a margin of 169 of course, if it is an incredible song and more with that violin also go to your RU-vid channel not too long ago, a video was uploaded 10 years later and you will be surprised it looks exactly the same
xD Gave me a good laugh right there. You've had some really good entries, and I'm always excited to hear Serbia's entries in Eurovision. I'm half Bosnian, so whenever Bosnia's not participating I root for Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Slovenia og Macedonia, but mostly Serbia. And especially if it's Željko Joksimović! He's a folk music genius! I hope to see him again in Eurovision 😃 Good luck this year!
Salvador Sobral (2017) was a fair winner at all levels ... of course not everyone liked it! was genuine, sang in Portuguese naturally, not in English like almost all the participants ... I imagine the scores of certain countries that have already won the eurovision song contest if they had sung in the official language of their country ... another important factor are the exchange of points between neighboring countries .... Portugal is only border with Spain ... So ....
Actually it makes sense why he’s the winner. Feel the way he sang and performed the song you’ll find that music is beyond language borders. You’ll feel the love just like the name of the song.
Singing in Dutch is no gift either. I loved how pure the song of Sobral was. It was about the song and the voice, not some crazy stage act. I thought that maybe Eurosong was back on track after that and then this year's winner comes clucking along.
I actually really like andorra's song 😂 I wish more lil countries would join and have balls like San Marino. Also,my favourite country on this list is Ukraine, Jamala is my nr1. of all time. Thank you for your video, cheers from Romania :)
Thank *you* for your comment:D Yeah... I really want to see Luxembourg, Andorra and The Vatican (lol jk:D) joining the contest again.... btw, love Ukraine too, one of my favorite countries.
Because "We are the winners" song liked many countries as a good joke. And it worked out. We were brave to declare that we are the winners of Eurovision and we get 6th place. Everyone has different taste of humor and results showed that people liked it. Troll songs in Eurovision is risky thing and no one knew what result we might get.
That's extremely unlikely. I strongly doubt that Zambia or Zimbabwe will compete. They're literally the only nations that come later alphabetically. So, yep, we're stuck with Riva. Rock me, baby, indeed.
I strongly doubt that Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, or Serbia would want to reunite with each other, especially after the three-sided war. And don't get me started with Kosovo.
But the capital doesn't have a big enough place for the eurovision - Kaunas does but the money that would be made from accommodation etc would be a reason for Lithuania to want to host it in the capital.
Countries who have come first: Austria 2014 Azerbaijan 2011 Belgium 1986 Denmark 2013 Estonia 2001 Finland 2006 France 1977 Germany 2010 Greece 2005 Ireland 1994 Israel 1998 Italy 1990 Latvia 2002 Luxembourg 1983 Monaco 1971 Netherlands 1975 Norway 2009 Portugal 2017 Russia 2008 Serbia 2007 Spain 1968 Sweden 2012 Switzerland 1988 Turkey 2003 Ukraine 2016 United Kingdom 1997 Yogoslavia 1989
Konstantin Derevosokroshchsky Volksgeist Federation shouldn’t the maximum points for each year and then find the percentage for each. ABBA couldn’t get hundreds of points so it’s unfair to judge that way.
You know your songs are horrible when your *BEST song* got *0* points from televoters, Czechia. No offence, I'm just saying there is room for improvement.
Eurovision Now! I must say, Czechia, Germany and Iceland had entries that were breathtaking in 2016, but apparently the swedes, russians and australians hacked the voting system so every good song got a bad result. (Cz: 0 televote, De: last place, Is: didn't qualify) Distractions aside, the Czech entries are improving, good luck to you in Lisbon! ;)
I leave you the ones that I liked the most: Austria 2014, Bielorusia 2007 (mi ganadora sin duda de ese año), Chipre 2004, Finlandia 2006, Francia 1977, Grecia 2005, Israel 1998, Italia 1990, Malta 2005, Noruega 2009, ustria 2014, Bielorusia 2007 (mi ganadora sin duda de ese año), Chipre 2004, Finlandia 2006, Francia 1977, Grecia 2005, Israel 1998, Italia 1990, Malta 2005, Noruega 2009, Polonia 1994, Portugal 2017, Rusia 2008, Serbia 2004, España 1968, Suecia 2012, Suiza 1988, UK 1997,
@@itsbritney1013 Me too! (I live close to Andorra, so I speak Catalan too, my mother language xD). I think I've heard that maybe Andorra will participate again :D Una abraçada! Hugs! 🙌🏻😄
Interesting to see how it would change if it was done on percentage of available points, rather than just points - which have increased exponentially with the number of countries rising over the years - eg Lulu won on 18 points!
Well it wouldnt really work as before 2000 there was no tele voting witch changed the game aswell as only a few countries actually participated in the early years. So if you wanna have a fair comparison on that i would say do one for last 20 years witch would be Rybak and Fairytale and 1 for 1985 or so to 2000 and one for pre 1985.
In my opinion all of participants of Eurovision contest have good, strong voice, but almost all their voices are good on the same level. But Portuguese winner is different, original, exclusive, brilliant! Bravo Portugal, bravissimo Salvador! God bless him!
Interesting list. I think you did it on placing, and than points. But in case of points, you should have taken the number of countries voting. Last year's winner scored over 750 points. The dutch winner scored 130. In the case of Israel, the 1998 winner scored 172 from 24 voters (7.16 points per voter), the 1978 winner score 157 points from 19 voters (8.26 per voter).
I'd argue that Georgia coming 9th out of 43 countries is a better result than 9th out of the lesser number competing in 2010. Then again I don't like Shine but do like One More Day.
14:48 I honestly didn't know this was a eurovision song until like last year, I remember hearing it growing up, like, during summer and stuff in Sweden. Love it :D
3 songs are composed by Zeljko Joksimovic Lane moje (Serbia&Montenegro), Lejla (Bosnia&Herzegovina) i Adio (Montenegro). Zeljko composed Nije ljubav stvar (Serbia 2012, 2nd place) i Oro (Serbia 2008, 6th place). Also, he composed song Jutro, which got 2nd place on national selection 2005.
I get offended every time I see Kristian Kostov because he seriously should have won (in my opinion) and it just physically hurts to get reminded of this musical injustice.
Finland's winning entry from 2006, Serbia's winning entry from 2007, Norway's winning entry from 2009, Denmark's winning entry from 2013, and Austria's winning entry from 2014 are, in no particular order, my personal top five out of not just the Eurovision songs highlighted in this video but of the entire contest from ca. 1990 onward. Also, I love that one of the people featured in this video is from my country -- yup, Katrina out of Katrina and the Waves (UK's winning entry from 1997) is from the UNITED STATES! Ha! So we've made our mark already! :D
With so much debate going on about if the recent Eurovision winners truly deserved it, this video made us look back at how Fairytale and Euphoria were such uncontested winners and pretty much everyone loves them
my fave contries austria 2014 belgium 1986 denmark 2013 estonia 2001 Finland 2006 and year no particular order france 1971 germany 2010 greece 2005 no blooming nicole for Germany lena is ok but 😣SORRY her song was ace isreal 1998 oh my fave milk and honey too from isreal eew Monaco 1978? Netherlands 1975 yes norway 2009 forgive you loads portgual 2017 so lala land too many countries now but its still exiting spain 1968 she beat cliff wth! sweden 2012 ace Switzerland 1988 excellent uk 1997 result !😎
When your country's best song was 25th in the final... Auch. But that was the year this came out! Right next year, things got a lot better!😁 But I'm not sure whether we can even get into the finale this year... 😕
Only one problem here: The results would differ by as much as 45% if you would calculate the results of each countries on the total of points available each years. That done, although the results for each countries would stay the same, those would not be with the same songs.
The last victory of my country is exactly as old as I am (okay, I was born in June, but I was talking about the year). Let's hope the next victory won't be in the year that I die, as that could either mean it'll take a long time before it wins again, or even worse, that I am going to die too young. (That victory was in the list). Should that Spanish entry be disqualified from that list (it's known by now it won thanks to Franco manipulating the outcome). Okay, strictly speaking it was a winner, and I guess 1968 is too long to whine about now :P And the Norwegian and Swedish entry totally surprised me. I never expected to see those in this video (I was sarcastic). And for the Moroccan entry. It's their best... and also their worst... When it comes to the Swiss entry... That is debatable since the score Lys Assia had when she won the first edition was never made public, so Céline Dion (who is not even Swiss but Canadian) is the only one of which we can tell what score she had.
