@@Videogamelover58 Its not a joke, Telly is pretty much him minus some movie-related issues and characterisms, but at the end - Leo was Telly at least it seemed like..
Best memories of when the culture hadn't been watered down- talking about the 90s when skateboarding/skaters had edge, being from the burbs all the DC locals would vibe Us out with the "cool guy" attitude and that's what made it exciting. Great interview 👌
It was more interesting that way but in hindsight skaters were just ultimate douchebag jocks. Those same dudes are still pretty self important weirdos living in their glory days and are unhappy. Maybe not all of them but it's similar to high-school football heros who waste away in a bar in their 40s reminiscing. Skating kinda started to suck when it transitioned out of punk rock
Man now I feel like a dick. My bad Leo I wasn’t actively fucking with you but I used to kinda think you and Chloe were kinda not from our crew and me n Justin were living on 13 at at that time and Larry was telling us we were all gonna be in the movie our crew Justin me Harold Hamilton , John Carter Ivan all the NYC GUYS FROM the late 80,s and things kinda changed and all of a sudden you and Draper were looked at with suspicious eyes. Real corny shit. So I’d like to send my apologies. I was a teen aged also or 20 at least so I was doing dumb shit. Didn’t know this is really how it was. Never want any negativity specially with another skate head. Glad to see you doing good. ✌️ Peace. Mike LES Oh yea I forgot Curtis was staying over the apartment with Justin n me. That’s a trip I forgot about Curtis McGann my last names McNabb so we’d always make jokes about being related but not. Lol then he snapped his ankle on WALLENBURG I think. Yea anyway love and price to all I just wanted to add that . RIP to all those who couldn’t make it . Again my apologies for being a douche .. ✌️
Sick, my era! Mike Kepper is the homie. Met him when he moved to FL, 90’s. He’s got rad stories. First pro I’ve ever seen in the streets. Good content bro!
So glad I was born in 82 I was lucky to see the best years of skate and punk and hiphop come to fruition.... I'm 40 this year and still wheelin around and still bashing my strings just gotta shake this needle garbage it's no good much love yall
As much as he must hate it, he will always be most known for his role as Telly in Kids. Not many ppl outside of the NY/NJ area really know him in the skate world and he didn't have much footy in skate videos.
