Привет! You are such a plant expert! There are so many teachers out there giving instructions with their voices, i feel that i should just let all my plants talk, believing that many of you will echo. You are my true garden friend❤😊
你好❤ you must noticed that I don’t use mulch. The key is to occupied all your space with all kinds of plants, high and low, not only good for wildlife, great for soil too. Besides common ground covers like pachysandra and vinca, I use lamium, lily of the valley, sedum, creeping Jenny, evening primrose, artemisia, fern, and yes, ajuga! A few years ago, I started Joe-lye weed, they are tall, but they can fill up a space in just couple of years with beautiful blooms though out summer, for some area, I’ll cut them shorter earlier in the season to control their heights. Also, wild violet is a great free ground cover with spring colors, they stay low and humble, suppress other weeds and serve the pollinators well… I can go on and on and on, so blessed! Have a great memorial weekend ❤
Thank you for your detailed reply. I will print it out and follow along. I live in New Jersey. I believe those plants shall work in my garden as well. 🙏🌹
Hi good morning! At the front garden, under the birch tree are artemisia and evening primrose, they are very easy to grow, once they settle down, pretty much they just take care of them self, and this is what I want😊 thank you for visiting my garden, have a blessed Sunday❤
