The shaky cam, the cold, the lost recording, the teeny tiny living room followed by the massive bathroom... This video has mad unhinged energy and I'm here for it!
Ideas for the wheel: -Build a housing using ONLY whatever colors you are currently wearing -Build the most poorly laid out house you can (bathroom doors outside, kitchens only accessible through bedrooms, the works) but TRY to make it look cute -Build a house from a show/movie WITHOUT looking at pictures/videos of it (from memory)
Hey Bella. I just wanted to say this to you. I know you've been facing a bit of burnout on your channel, but literally you making whatever Sims content makes my day. My family lives in Kyiv, I live in Odesa. 🇺🇦 And today is horrible. And I'm just really really happy that I get to tune out everything going on and watch you play the Sims. ❤️
i rarely enjoy building from scratch (give me a gallery house to redecorate and i’ll go ham), but these challenges-especially this one-are making me wanna give ‘er a go
Build a house, but each room is a different business. Maybe you have a kitchen designed after a police department, a bathroom like a cafe, a library for a bedroom...
Some video ideas - building-related only: Build a haunted house from Phasmophobia (i just miss you playing that game tbh, so if you ever want to play that again...ya know... i personally would big fat love that) Harry Potter themed tiny house community The Black n White challenge, but instead of putting your computer in black and white, only use black, white, and gray swatches - including terrain paint. Make it look like it's in black and white "Realistic" Renovation - renovate a home, but do it as if it were real life (you can only knock down walls, repaint them, you can't move windows, but you can replace them, change the floors, new landscaping, repainting the exterior, you can't move rooms to new locations, etc.) Love your content! Hope you feel better!
"how much plants is too much plants" given that going absolutely ham with the plants is the part i always get excited for in your builds, the answer is there is no such thing as too much plants 😂
Plumbella could literally upload a video of her doing nothing but staring at the camera and I would be losing my mind clapping and screaming. I will literally eat up ANY of this content
Video idea: design a house for two characters (from other fandoms like Harry Potter etc) who don't get along and try to find a balance that works for both of them
You could also do a build challenge where you randomly pick items from build buy (e.g sofa category) using the random number generator and have to use at least 15 of these generated items in your built (I also did this with 3 randomly picked floors and walls as well to make it harder)
I love custom content videos and wish more simmers made them 😭 not just creating cc but collaborating with a creator to show off new cc they’ve made, or cc shopping. Creating CC makeup would be a hilarious challenge tbh, I’d love to see it. Are you able to figure out how to stream spin-offs like The Urbz or console games like Sims Bustin’ Out? I remember playing both on my Game Boy Advance and PS2 respectively.
That was a gorgeous build despite the challenges! I've only discovered you recently and I genuinely enjoy watching your videos! Can't wait to see more. 😊
Just so you know, I absolutely love the wheel of video ideas. It's super fun for us too and it's great if it helps with the burnout (also, I'm kind of burnt out on watching Sims content for the most part, especially after the supreme shit show that was the wedding pack)
SAME- every sims youtuber has been making videos abt the pack for WEEKS and im just getting sick of hearing about it ;-; ive decided instead to rewatch clare siobhans dream house series lol
Plumpapa: Has history of banging on front door during recording and calling Jesse a bitch because he cranky and wants a cuppa. Plumbella: Idk why I'm nervous recording around my family.
This house is actually gorgeous I want that bathroom and kitchen and outside so damn bad JESSIE YOU HAVE DONE IT AGAIN, CONSTANTLY RAISING THE BAR AND DOING IT FLAWLESSLY
idk how you always manage to make these weirdly shaped houses into such cute masterpieces! it's a talent!!! also still hoping you can try the "every lot challenge.. challenge" one day! maybe combined with completely randomized sims?? the chaos might make the sims 4 exciting again
8:40 I mean those items are for fireplace and kitchen... in a way. Perfect Patio did add few items for grilling. Kinda wish they would actually expand the SP with like 10 foundation and platforms swatches, added three more hottubs and grills. And shiet ton patio and outside wall decor. Maybe a fireplace for wooden altars, with dozen grilled and burnt food. Like some of those earliest SPs have such broad categories, that you could literally do anything with them. And it would be nice to have some clothes and hairstyles with it, for like evening family gatherings and wild hottub/pool raves.
Ooh for a video you should do “Building with my least favourite items” ! It would be cool to see how you incorporate them. Or, “ Making the LEAST practical house possible” would be funny too!
Hope you feel better soon, Jesse! Video ideas: -build a reverse house (inner shell is the garden/yard area and the outdoors becomes the "living space") -build a house where every room looks like a painting/picture from the top-down view (like how some grain fields are planted to look like certain images from an aerial view or how dominoes make a cool design when knocked over) -build a house where each room has two major functions but you don't get to decide the combinations (so maybe assign a number to each typical room, 1 for living room, 2 for kitchen, etc) and then go from there (would be interesting to see how a living room+bathroom works out/kitchen+bedroom works out, etc) -build a house inspired by a storybook/videogame you love
Oh just listening to ya talking is a blessing for my soul. I used to live in England up in the north, and I miss how the people there talked. You remind me of this wonderful year I had 💕
I'd love to see a combo one so like number generator for room tiles AND some sort of predominant colour wheel (maybe not full-colour challenge), or other combos. The possibilities are endless!
holy shit the kitchen and the bathroom are so cute. i love the platform with the tub and how u made the plant curtain divide the room. its adorable and i want to live there
Love this house, the bathroom looks so relaxing. Great video! I'm bored of sims 4 too ive been playing old ps2 sims games they're pretty fun and have their own lore.
Wow -- tiny living for the living room, perfectly average living everywhere else. XD But hey, it DOES look good -- and yes, the roof is weird, but it seems to have the character the house needs, you know?
Build challenge: You can only place items which your sim can interact with. No paintings or rugs or plants etc. unless if they have an interaction. Would be so cool to see what other creative ways there are to decorate! Doors, windows, walls, flooring, wallpaper, roofing and terrain tools are all fair game :)
if you want to find the modular items easily just type in "modular" in the search engine and press the result "modular" which will bring up all modular furniture. Use it all the time, i don't even know where all the items are otherwise.
Well, this was fun really. I do like the roof. And I LOVE your oasis bathroom. You really put all that space to good use. The living room... hey, with a bathroom like that, who's gonna spend any time in the living room anyway? haha
idea: use the story create a sim thingy, or just randomize your sim and their traits, and make a whole house based off of them. Colors that match their color scheme, vibes that match their personality traits. I feel like you would enjoy that!
I love this house it reminded me of the monotone from Sims 3 I always used that house as my starter back in the day. Not sure if you've done this challenge before but maybe taking your favorite homes/lots from Sims 3 and making them in Sims 4? Or redoing the Sims 3 houses IN the Sims 3 like beautifying them within the game.
I was trying to figure out what the tiny living area reminded me of...and realized it's basically what my 5th floor walkup in Brooklyn was. Modern furniture in INTENSELY small areas bc real estate is murder in NYC (laughs then cries)
I have an idea for like a budget kind of challenge, so for each room you get a random budget and every item in the room has to be in that range of simoleans. So let’s say you roll $100 then every item in the room has to be between 50 and 100, then 140 would be between 90 and 140 or 20 would be 0 to 20, 260 would be 210 to 260, idk
Video idea: use the random number generator for each room is a different number of tiles, but use it to build a shell challenge. Complete the shell challenge and review our submissions
I don’t know if this has already been done? Different timeline in each room? So like one room could be 1920s/30s with stuff from like vintage glamour or something, one room futuristic with get to work stuff etc, a medieval room, 1960s etc. Saying this, I wanna do it now. And it has to be realistic - like can’t have anything like technological if it’s a historical room, has to be accurate yknow.
For some reason, that bathroom reminded me of Vanessa Hudgen's bathroom in her house featured in Architectural Digest. Has the same vibes, I would say. 😊
