Thanks for the information on the beeper on the flight board for finding lost planes Steve. We had noticed that this iteration of the V761 Minis uses the newer style flight board with the servos 1 behind the other - the same as the 2s brushless board used in the 500mm P-51planes. We were hoping that EXHOBBY Volantex would start issuing the 400mm brushed Minis with similar features. I take it that the Auto-take-off feature is still extant on this? Throttle hard down, press Stunt Button, Tx starts beeping, immediately go to full throttle, toss plane and it will climb up and start to circle, (subject to wind) retake control by moving right stick. For full info for the punters, 1 beep repeating on the Tx = low transmitter batteries, 2 beeps repeating = low plane battery, 4 beeps repeating = plane getting out of range. Also a re-calibration of the gyros can be forced by both sticks down and out BEFORE arming throttle.

Steve, I think this is an upgrade on the old one , with Brushless motor and the Eachine protocol allows binding to lots of nicer transmitters . Great work , keep em coming,

Eachine and Volantex have released 500mm brushless but the 400mm are all brushed motors

Nice to see Eachine are finely making BNF version of their models, although it's only £5 cheaper, lol stingy gets. Just shows how cheap those radios they bundle with the RTF version, the shipping is the same on both model too, which makes no sense.

Hey Steve. I love these 400mm warbirds. At full throttle they do fly well and look really fast. Not as fast as your Cherokee! I hope you do some Cherokee vids soon. I love mine and really enjoy watching videos of it...mine and others. 😊 I have my v2s bound to my RM Boxer and the battery telemetry is A1...not the voltage but a 'flag'. I believe 2.2 is low battery. Nice for these birds that fly so long and just drop when out of power.

My poor Cherokee ran into one of my buddies ankles at full speed on landing. Apparently he did not hear the command "I'm landing, get the hell out of the way". It broke the prop and squished up the nose a bit, but with a replacement prop it continues to fly.

@@CAPTAINDRONE798 I changed out my prop yesterday as it was very noisy. As it turns out, I think it was just dirty from the "grass cutting" I was doing. But it flew well and quiet! I've had my share of issues, like crashing into a tree and a baseball foul pole. @@CAPTAINDRONE798 thanks. The only option I have close to me. Both clubs are grass. I do fly at the local High School baseball field and that is a nice sand "runway". But they let the infield go so now it is even longer than the club.

0:57... What's so great about it is..... it is a full functional 4 channel RC airplane with a Gyro Stabiliser and Transmitter UNDER 250 grams. That means it DOES NOT need to be registered with the Government to fly legally... Question Steve... How many propellers in a Ton ?😉

These things are made of EPP NOT EPS beer-cooler foam. Unless your 2 Rottweilers start fighting over it then it is very unlikely that you will ever have "broke a wing"!!! Also UNLIKE EPS, you can glue the EPP foam with pretty well ANY glue even rubber cements containing toluene solvents. DON'T try that on EPS planes! 😱🙄

In the RC Hobby you learn tons of skills and one skill in the RC Plane hobby is how to repair any damage. Planes are super easy to fix. You’d only damage a wing if you flew it full speed into concrete.

@@lectorserelith EPS is about 30% lighter than EPP by volume. However EPS is MUCH more fragile! The main reason that manufacturers use it at all is because it generates a heap more business when selling spare parts to the Noobs who will ALWAYS crash and destroy it when learning to fly. Stick with these little EPP planes. They are brilliant toys!
