Great fish. I went to Eagle once and had fun but no muskie. Had one hit my walleye and another follow. We didn't fish for muskie. At the lodge only one was a muskie angler and one tried for a day and got a 42". Most have no idea what muskie angling was, size limit 30" and many were caught before getting to 35" Seeing a big fish was seeing a mount at the sports show. It was almost impossible to find muskie gear until you were up north. Condisder yourselves lucky, I was about 25 when they stocked Green Bay. And a few years ago I caught my only one at 48", not legal but it was special to me.Growing up a 30" could expect a bat to the head or even a .22 to the head.
