Slay is not the player he use to be but it's a tough position to play with all the young talent coming out. Hell Mahomes threw 2 picks and it was actually three but one was called back because on the other side of the field TK got hands put on his face when he was getting jammed. High level is a stretch. He is not terrible but no where near high level. I haven't seen him cover a crossing route in 2 years. Just watch the film with unbiased eyes and you will see.
@@chadhall769 well a lot of the time it’s the defensive scheme he’s taught too keep everything in front of him and for a guy who been starting at the number 1 corner spot for his whole career and very respected around the league as a high level player at his position I mean he’s been all pro multiple times multiple pro bowls I mean that’s a high level player specially in the nfl

He constantly gets beat on crossing routes and when he is matched up on the other teams number 1 he doesn't fair well. You don't have to take my word just look at the tape. He doesn't have that alpha attitude you need to be an elite corner anymore. He is so quick to praise the person that just destroyed him. Great sportsmanship but definitely not a dog. Slay has been getting way too much shade. Even before the season started. The slightest flaw and everyone wants to say hes too old. Hes still at least a top ten cb and we should be thankful that we have that. Im even guilty in the heat of the moment. We'll miss him when hes gone. Even though Q is gonna be a great player from what ive seen so far.
