[Eagles] Joe Walsh's Lifestyle 2022

Joe's one of the last legendary guitarists still with us today.

Dude is a huge supporter of veterans and for that I will always admire him.

So happy for Joe that he got healthy and is still rockin with us today.

Joe is just one of a kind. If you like him and you like his music you will get my point. He's awesome

I didn't find out until much later that Joe was from my hometown of Wichita (I still live here), and that a house he lived in was not far from a home I lived in during childhood. It's cool he supports a charity for a house here in Wichita.

I had more fun being in my 20's in the 70's, then I do being in my 70's in the 20's -‐ Joe Walsh.

I remember Joe from his gigs in Akron with the James Gang playing at my local high school, swim club and ski lodge. His guitar playing blew me away and after one of his gigs he spent time telling me some of his greatest influences, including Duane Allman on slide, Clapton and Mick Taylor. He was so approachable and really is, like the song says, an ordinary average guy, though a great guy with a tremendous heart, talent and extremely funny. He was like a standup comedian at those early gigs.

An Aussie 80's band with a floating line up called the Party Boys were listening to Life's Been Good Me So Far, they took the line literally when he said. Just leave a message, maybe I'll call. They did, Joe called & done some show's with them I was lucky enough to see them twice in a small venue in Sydney Australia.

You forgot he was in Australia for 2years in The Party Boys they were a great band

I always enjoyed watching Joe Walsh and Don Felder play together in the Eagles. Joe fingering and hand positioning is as sloppy as one can imagine while Don Felder’s technique was clean and textbook. And when you listen to what they played it was an amazing back and forth between two of the best guitarists in rock.

Occasionally I flip through the fm dial, to hear what's being called music these days. No matter how much studio production they throw into it, today's music (as Joe said) has no mojo. It's hollow. No soul. Just listen to Walk Away, they try to listen to anything new.

I first heard Joe Walsh in 1969 "Yer" Album" and have been a fan ever since, saw him around 1970 when "Barnstorm" came out (one of my favorite concerts) I couldn't believe how he could play making his guitar sound like 2 guitars at once. I don't have his newest album (I'll have to get it) but Analog Man is great. The song Analog Man fits Joe perfectly and me too...
