@@darylhoskins5696 don’t get me wrong ok I love the eagles their one of the greatest bands ever made and one of my favorites, I was just giving my opinion of their new song it sounds good I like it but it sounds too much like their 1975 or ‘76 song hotel California which is another master piece of a song and one of my favorites, in music u have to roll with the punches on what peoples options of the song and the sound of the music so that’s all I was doing

Randy just could not do it any more. If you mean Don Felder, sorry but I have no sympathy for him. Unlike all the Don Henley haters, out there. I believe that Don Felder fucked himself and not only did it once but TWICE. Most people like to think otherwise buit like Joe Walsh he was NOT an "original member" It was always Glenn's band and to a slightly lesser degree Don's band. 51/49 Joe Walsh and Timothy Schmidt understood this and were not about to kill the goose that was laying the golden eggs. Stuart Smith understood that. The end result is that they , the Eagles have for 30 years been on world tours and playing to sold out crowds in venues like Garden in NYC and the Forum in LA and soon the Sphere in Vegas while Don Felder has been playing 2nd and 3rd tier casino gigs WAY off the beaten path in places like Tunica and gigs playing with what is not much more than 2nd rate cover bands in hole in the clubs and "county fairs that see the likes of Ted Nugent and Kid Rock general; admission 20 bucks a ticket Sort of like that "Bad Blake" character @@pittsburghcityofchampions1979

@@daleferber2096 Hopefully Don can lip sync to a song which elaborates on how denial is NOT a river in Egypt! And for the record it was also not just one guitarist who spotted the evidence. It is audible and technological PROOF, however much over your head that tech may be. Certainly, had these allegations been incorrect, someone as litigious as Mr Henley would have sued his 'a-'!

I totally agree they need to let whatever came between them die and get back together for this last hurrah! I'll be going September 20th. Wish I could see Don Felder play with Joe Walsh again.

I doubt it. The band have made zero comment as far as I can see on the revelations about Henley's lip syncing, so they are just ostriching and hoping fans like some of the above simply don't know about it

@@jamesli9380 I know, which is pretty poor when it’s been proven. HOWEVER… I will say this: in their latest run in Manchester, it was undoubtably clear the Don sounded different. Whether he was truly singing Live or just recorded some new tracks is uncertain, but his vocals were distinctly different than the U.S. shows.

It’s a promo, they’re just letting you know they are going to be going to the Las Vegas Sphere this year.

Co-wrote it. He wrote most of the music, while Henley and Frey wrote the lyric.

He wrote the instrumental and sent it on a tape with a bunch of instrumentals to Glenn Frey. Glenn Frey chose the instrumental out of the bunch, then wrote the lyrics with Henley and arranged the harmonies for every band member. Joe Walsh also wrote the second part of the guitar solo(the part you guys cheer the most for). It's interesting that ppl listen to music, but don't know how a song is made. Eagles wrote Hotel California.

David Lee Roth did not write the Van Halen music. Everyone knows that Eddie Van Halen wrote the music. Roth & Hagar wrote the lyrics for Eddie's music. Hotel California is Don Felder's music.

That is like trying to say that Joe Walsh wrote Life In The fast Lane because he came up with the opening guitar lick

@@Christopher-jk9bj The 3 collaborated on the lyrics. Felder composed everything else on his own, playing all instruments parts and dubbing onto a recorder. He let Henley hear it, he thought it was great and wanted it exactly like that....until he had some lyrics and tried to sing it and couldn't. He made Felder redo it exactly the same, but in a different key, which led to the need for double necked guitar to play it live.
