Oh how the chickens have come to roost. The Eagles have been struggling all year and I had the balls to say it. They don’t look the same. Last year Jalen Hurts was scoring as much as he is now 23 passing touchdowns and 15 rushing touchdowns compared to last years 22 and 13. He even has 100 more yards than he had last year passing and only behind by 10 rushing yards. It looks like he improved. But he’s thrown 8 more picks this year than he did last year. And the five fumbles he had last year was always recovered by the eagles. This year he’s fumbled 6 times and lost 4 of them. The eagles rarely made mistakes and this year it’s more frequent. Yes they string together game winning drives but that’s not always gonna be the case.

The Eagles offensive identity is that they live and die by Jalen Hurts. Sirianni doesn't run a traditional offense. He cherry picks what works from various systems to Hurts' skillset and then asks to player hero ball. The offense is basically some outsize zone runs, 4-man deep routes from the Air Coryell offense, quick slants to AJB, screen passes, and QB power/tushpush. Their only threat in the run game is Jalen scrambling. Swift and Gainwell are non-factors. Penny doesn't exist. The worst part is, the Eagles borrowed a ton of cash in future years to buy super bowls now. All that void year money will need to be accounted for and it's going to hit hard in 3 of the next 4 years.

Who calls the plays ? The OF, Head Coach? If they do, then Jalen H. Should be like “wait wait what?”- ultimately the second in charge the (QB) , doesn’t have the heart to question calls, ignore the calls, call a time out, something. If Jalen’s deciding calls and your just allowing it as the DC or HC, then you the one gotta go- Professional Millionaires on field on sidelines

The difference between the Eagles of last year compared to this year is that they controlled the line of scrimmage on offense and defense. Since they can't do it this year they must be more creative on offense with quick throws and motion the RB and WRs in play action and run sweeps off the edge. On defense they need to use Hasson Riddick as a spy who lines up on the left or ride side to drop back in coverage on throws or blitz when necessary for added pressure on the QB. So I'm talking about a 3-4-4 defensive scheme. 3 DLs and 4 LBs (one who rushes the QB and falls back in coverage), and 2CBs and 2 Safeties. A blitz package can include one of the safeties or another LB (in addition to Riddick) or both totaling 6 defensive players rushing the QB.

The Eagles fall apart and all four are talking about "the best players needs"... Hurts needs better coaching. Utilize running backs more. Put players in position to win. Hurts needs help from the scheme. Move AJ and DSmith around like Dallas does for CeeDee. He needs more help talent wise. Someone in the run game needs to step up. The other WRs need to step up. They just spent the last few weeks telling us Brock Purdy was nothing because he had all that. Pick. A. Lane.
