This is for him!!! My best friend died 2012. My other 2016...die hard fans. This is for everyone who didn't get to see it...God bless them...Eagles forever
2018 was my favorite year. We won the super bowl, I graduated high school, I got my dream job and my grandpa got to see his birds win it all right before he left us❤️
I know I'm late but I cried so much when we won. My pop was a huge eagles fan. We all still are. And it's such a shame that he never got to see his favorite team with a ring. I still have the Donovan Mcnabb jersey he bought me, and wear it every game. We did it, pop. We finally made it. John Rudolph Chester April 20, 1949 - March 3, 2016
plz help I want die damn it, you got me crying over here. Bastard 😫 just think somewhere your pop is watching you rep our boys with pride with a tear in his eye and a smile on his face.
Just wait, its not over yet. This year the eagles are stacked on the offense again. Starting QB Carson Wentz, backup QB Josh McCown, WR DeSean Jackson, TE Zach Ertz. I dont know if were winning another Super Bowl, but were definitely making playoffs for the 3rd year in a row
This made me cry lost my brother last year to Cancer he was a huge Eagles fan and was very energetic and loud during games and I know for a fact he would had gone though the roof when they won and prob have cried...Miss him so much and this made me cry thinking about how much he would have loved it but I know he was watching from above miss you bro this was for you!
I lost my Dad during the Season. I was at such a low point 10/17/17. I am a Texas girl who'd been an Eagles fan since childhood. In Dec 2017, I got engaged to the love of my life, then we won the Superbowl. My life forever changed during this season. I will never, ever forget it. I felt my Dad's spirit that day. All I could do was cry. #FlyEaglesFly
This was the greatest moment of my life. After celebrating in town all night, I came home and just bawled my eyes out. All the bad memories from my years of being a diehard... Ronde Barber running down the sideline breaking everyone's heart in the last game at the Vet, Ricky Manning picking off McNabb 3 times the next year, McNabb throwing 3 more picks in the Super Bowl, the defense blowing it against Arizona in 2008... All those bad memories that haunted me, once that final Brady Hail Mary bounced off the turf, no longer haunted me anymore. Pure joy. A moment that made all those previous heartbreaks worth it. Nobody can EVER take this one away from us! Fly, Eagles, Fly!!!
The greatest Eagles moment of my life, before this, was the NFC championship game against Dallas. This win negates the heartbreaking loss in superbowl XV!
We did it dude we did it!! We will always have this season, and you know what enduring all that heartbreak made this game even better. WE FINALLY DID IT!
Honestly, I’m not a fan of the Eagles, but to see the absolute pure joy in people’s eyes to see they won, it’s truly just something else greater than just football.
What you saw here was 58 years of a championship drought erased, years of torment the Eagles fans had endured with the whole "0 Super Bowls" talk from division rivals coming to an end, and finally, after going 13 years of being cheated out of a Super Bowl, this win was vindication for us. We waited a long time for this moment, and nothing will ever take this away from us.
I’m a Giants fan but even as bitter as our rivalry is, I’m so happy for the fans of this team who waited their entire lives to see this. Everyone who wished they had a loved one still alive to see this I can promise you that they definitely were watching the game with you.
I wished I saw this with my dad, he was taking care of his mom during her last days, but with what he told me, he watched the game at her house, and we've known our grandma to not be interested in football in the slightest, even when the Seahawks won their Super Bowl, but she watched the game with my dad and she experienced his joy when he saw us win the Super Bowl. It was her one and only football game that she experienced in her lifetime and I was glad to hear that she enjoyed it with my dad.
Dude you made real tear come from my eyes. Even now I get chill 2022 I wish my Brother could have see it.. He was the reason I watch football.. I went to his grave site and decorated it all green..
I have a different spin on that, my Mom was a big Eagles fan (she passed in 2009) but my dad passed in June of 2018 and he was a Dallas fan so I was glad he got to see them win at least one lol
I'm a die hard Saints fan but I can't help but fight back tears sometimes because I was so happy for the Eagles and the city of Philadelphia you guys definitely deserved it
Fuck you I love the patriots they deserve to win the stupid eagles were meant to be humiliated. New England's winning streak deserves to go on forever fuck the eagles
Tears right now. If your not a Eagle fan you will not understand. So many of our fans who left this world with their last wishes to see our Eagles win it all. They didnt see it and my thoughts constantly are on them. Allot of graveyards had visitors with Eagle jerseys on the day after. Thank you God for allowing me to see it.
JOSHUA LOVEHALL your right I wouldn’t know what it feels like to see my team win because the only time I saw them in the super bowl they lost despite them winning 5 years before I was born all I want is to see my team win one super bowl which is what everyone wants so yeah I may not be an eagles fan but I understand where your coming from especially when my team used to be the laughing stock of the nfl before winning their first super bowl
JOSHUA LOVEHALL Amen, man. I've been an Eagles fan my entire life, so has my family. My grandfather would've been so happy to watch our Eagles win but unfortunately passed away so many years ago. My family is so proud that we watched our Eagles make history
I’m a raiders fan, but seeing all you eagles fans this happy makes me happy as well. This would definitely be my reaction when my team wins the Super Bowl.
This is something I will never forget! If your from Philly this was such a beautiful heartfelt moment! Never winning a Superbowl and then finally getting sweet victory over the Patriots, FLY 🦅🦅🦅 FLY!!
That whole family is getting after it! lol.. Luv the optimism of those cabin dwellers cheering when the Eagles fall behind. They never gave up hope!! 2:26
I was so happy to see my eagles win it all! My Grandmom knew there was something special with this team. She passed away 2 1/2 months before the super bowl. I was definitely emotional when we won and seeing Nick Foles holding that Lombardi. I knew my grandmom was watching from the best view in heaven! Go Birds!
My grandma was never a football person, but she did watch this Super Bowl with my dad and she experienced joy when he saw us win the game. This was her one and only Super Bowl she ever watched, and I'm glad she saw it with my dad
I cried when they won. Literal tears when MY TEAM won. I stayed up until midnight on a school day just to watch them win. It was a very proud moment in my house
I remember that feeling all too well. I got calls from my uncle, who is a Seahawks fan, congratulating me and my family for the Super Bowl win. I was on a high from this win, my co-worker checked on me. It felt like an eternity when the clock hit 0:00, and the tears didn't come down until the trophy was walked down to the podium.
My grandmother was a life long Eagles fan. She was suffering through the late stages of Alzheimer's when they won. I had the distinct pleasure of whispering into her ear, "Nanny, the Eagles are Super Bowl Champions. They finally did it!" She passed later that year. I hope you heard me!
ive watched this video 500 times in the last 3 years. when the music breaks and shows the guy crying, and fades to the next shot of the man with a picture of his pop... it gets me every time. my dad never saw 1. he wanted it more then life his self. he died from kidney failure young and never saw it happen. this video, that clip takes me to that point in my life every time i see it. thank u for that. GO BIRDS !
People who have not grown up with our Bird's, Phil's, Flyers and Sixers will never, never, never ever understand how long we have been disrespected and joked as fans of our city. We have been subject to very poor management ERAs on some teams and also owners who just abused our loyalty for financial gain. WE made through all of this!! I love all of you!!! I bleed green and always will!!..... I'm from Germantown but now live in Austin, Texas and I had the pleasure of seeing Nick Foles in high school here and I constantly reminded the folks here that there is 1 Texan we will always love also!!
chris wimbush hey just remember this... No one likes us NO one likes us NO ONE LIKE US, WE DON’T CARE WE’RE FROM PHILLY FUCKIN PHILLY NO one likes us we don’t care. E A G L E S EAGLES!!!
Preach. When I moved away from Philadelphia everyone I knew made laughed every time I said the eagles was my favorite team. But I got to laugh back in their faces the moment they won
you know Chris your absolutely right! I've been a philly sports fan since I was 4 so I've been to every parade for all 4 of our sports teams. But just remember one thing no one likes us and we don't care!
I will never forget my father putting his hands in the air and saying thank you Jesus for let me seeing them win a superbowl. Most memorable moment of the superbowl! Fly Eagles Fly!!!!
I'm a mexican i live in Guadalajara México, but my heart is eagle, really i cry when we win, my team, i love Philadelphia Eagles, you make happy every season.
Yo soy de Panamá hermano... Y este es uno de los momentos mad felices de mi vida. También llore y aun se me hace un nudo en la garganta!! Lo logramos!!! Lo logramos!! Saludos hermano latino.
Why am I still crying years later? 😭😭 This video brought me right back to that moment 🙌🏾 I remember being downtown & loosing my voice from screaming & then being at the parade freezing 😂😂 Still the best moment of my life so far 🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅
As a 60 year old life long Eagles fan who has seen it all, I of course expected the Pats to complete the hail mary, make the 2 pt conversion, win the coin toss and take the down and win. When that last pass fell incomplete it took at least a minute or two for it to register that they had actually won. What a feeling
How did you feel about them getting away with 5 in the back field on the special....the no calls such as Jenkins helmet to helmet spearing....#30 stepped on the line with no control....you'll never admit it out loud but inside u know they got away with it.
I’m a life long Raider fan.. I come back to this video every few months to remind me of two things, anything is possible.. and the juice will be worth the squeeze.
Cheer up. You have a young dynamic defense. Kirk Cousins will get more out of Thielen and Diggs than Keenum could. Dalvin Cook will add some excitement to the offense. I don't see how your odds to win the super bowl are worse than the Patriots. What kind of drugs is 41 year old Brady on is all I want to know? You know Kraft is working out some backroom deal so he won't have to be tested. As long as Zimmer doesn't do what Buddy Ryan did here and ruin the offense trying to perfect the defense, you should be in the hunt for years.
Adam Thielen is young and underrated here. Proud Vikings fan btw. Fron being undrafted to now one of the top 5 receivers in rushing, all the 31 NFL teams have regretted that choice. Still remember he said he would've taken an office job if the Vikings still didn't sign him.
I still remember hanging with my buddies back in the early 90s when people still read newspapers. Somebody said "do you think we'll ever read Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl Champions?" There was a solemn pause and nobody could envision it. Nope. Never. ...miracles do happen
This made me cry my eyes out just like I did on the night they won. I'm a diehard fan of all four Philly sports teams, and as Philly fans we get so much hate. But this is what it's all about. Nobody has more heart than we do! Seeing the birds win their first Super Bowl was surreal. Go Eagles!
Every time I watch this video I cry. My brother and I have been eagles fans since 1990. We have been disappointed so many times, but this win was worth all those years of waiting. I love it. Fly Eagles..
I waited for this SB win all of my life. I'm old enough to remember the loss in the 1980 season, and then 2004. I wasn't sure I would see it in my lifetime, but it's happened, and a month later, it is still the best feeling in the world!
Me too! I was 10 in 1980, 34 in 2004, and 48 when we finally did it! Both my mother & father are gone and they passed their love of the Eagles to me. My brother got a Eagles jersey, helmet and padding for Christmas in 1975. I fell in love with the Iggles right then and there. It was also my Dad's last Christmas with us. He died August 1976. So they mean the world and so did winning the SB. It was our time; it was written in the stars! I love my city, the fans, and our teams. 💚🦅🏈
My father took me to my first Eagles game when i was ten months old. IT was because of him i became a die hard Eagles fan. I can never fully repay him for the experiences we shared together at so many different moments we shared going to games. Sadly he passed away in 2003. But each game i attend i feel his presence when i sing the right song after each touchdown. I broke down in tears when we won because i knew we were celebrating in spirit Love you dad thank you Forever you’re little Stephen
It's not that we've won it but it's more of how we won it, straight Rocky Style. No one outside of Philly would really understand what this meant to the City we're in our own bubble. That thumbnail says it all !!
A-freakin-men!!!! Like.....other places have had their Super Bowl moments. And we got 3 championships before the merger. And they count. But this meant SO MUCH to the city, to the fans, to everyone who waited through YEARS of heartbreak. Through years of falling short - 3 straight losses in the NFC Championship games, and then the loss in SB39. But we were not going to be denied. I'm tearing up watching this again, 10 1/2 months after.
@@cameronconnell6870 WOAH HOLD UP FELLA YOU MESSED WITH THE WRONG FANBASE! A: You spelled Russell Wilson wrong (why does EVERYONE only put one L) B: He's a better player, leader, and person than you, or anyone on your sorry ass team will ever be. C: Russell Wilson got robbed of MVP that year. The Seahawks had the worst offensive line in the NFL, a fully injured Legion of Boom, an injured starting runningback, and Blair Walsh as their kicker. Russell Wilson had more rushing yards and touchdowns than all of the runningbacks combined and carried the Seahawks to a winning record.
Me and my dad watched this game when I was 9. I'm 12 now and I'm still watching football with him. Right now we are actually watching Bengals vs chiefs and it's been a emotional ride man.
wow that gave me chills 52 years!! i just wished my Dad was still alive to see this he used to take us the old Eagle games at Franklin Field and even preseason games at the Vet when the Eagles were perennial losers and the laughing stocks of the NFL but he always supported and cheered for them!
I watch this and I cry. This was the most important day of my life. More important then my wedding day. More important then my kids birth. God bless Eagles Nation! AND GOD BLESS THE GREAT CITY OF Philadelphia! Let that liberty bell ring Patriots.
Little girl, wearing number eleven: you filled my heart up. Unadulterated joy is a Universal good, and your face brought me pure joy. Good on you, little Eagles fan. I 💙you.
10 1/2 months later and it still gets me. I cried....openly weeped when the ball fell incomplete and we raised that trophy. And I'm watching this now on the last day of 2018, and I just teared up. It meant everything to this city, this fanbase.....they did this FOR ALL OF US! And we're back in the playoffs. Let's do it again!
I remember this amazing game like it was yesterday. I was only 11 at the time and a die hard Eagles fan. This game was incredible. It had me on my feet pretty much the entire game. Once the game ended, my family and I went ballistic. We went out to Philly that night and it was insane. Mayhem everywhere you looked. Definitely a moment in my lifetime I will never forget 💚🖤
@@farfetched1660 I'm in buffalo, guess what team I like Rams and yes Rams fans exist ( IVE LOYALY WATCHED THIS TEAM FOR 11 YEARS AND 13 TO 3 IS WHAT I GET IN RETURN COME ON IM PISSED,THE ONLY THING YOU CAN DO TO BRING ME JOY IS TO BEAT THE SAINTS IN WEEK TWO TO SHUT UP THIS INSUFFERABLE FANBASE)
I live in south philly. I remember on Sunday, February 4th, 2018, the exact moment we won the super bowl. Everyone was screaming, fireworks everywhere, and people going crazy. I screamed as loud as I could and cried my eyes out. Best night ever
Brant Frans I will I'm 10 this is the only super bowl for the eagles that I watched and they won this helped because my dad died in the army on super day and when I saw them win I bursted in to tears
Thanks Patrick Lilly..... I felt the same exact way when Mr. Bowlen said " THIS ONES FOR JOHN " Congrats by the way on your former owners induction into the HOF : ) truly deserved .... That would have been a huge crime if Elway didn't get his ring .... I still feel bad around Super Bowl time for Dan Marino : (
Patrick Lilly as a raiders fan and ur team being my enemy ur actually right the eagles deserved it also I hate the patriots it’s cool to see the eagles get their first super bowl also the eagles have a hidden message in their logo at the end of the feathers there’s like an e for eagles
Dude when Brady threw the second touchdown to Gronk... every eagles fans reaction was the guy sitting quietly in the bar. I was one of them, but after ertz caught that TD. I knew we were winning. And when Brady fumbled, I cried because I knew it was over. Brings tears to my eyes to! Fly Eagles Fly!
I knew we were winning the game. I just felt it. So much was in our favor: the year of the dog, Jerome Brown's bday, playing the Pats again, the Pats playing Jacksonville (where we lost), etc. It was our turn and we did it. I truly hope we make it back soon. It was and still is a great feeling to finally be a winner. 💚🦅🏈 #FlyEaglesFly
@@DailyScratcher Somebody commented about the Cody Parkey kick, "It's unfair how exciting it must be to be an Eagles fan." In all my years going back to Harold Carmichael and Roman Gabriel there's been a lot more unfair than exciting. Lots of lousy mixed in with the 1 playoff win Randall years and all those Conference Championship losses with A. Reid. Now we're the team who gets it done in the last gasp. Is this some kind of Twilight Zone where I'm already dead and I'm imagining this? You know, the 1993 playoff game where we won in the Superdome was a 4:00 Sunday game. But this is Drew Brees not Bobby Hebert. My prediction is we see Jordan Hicks return to ball hawking form.
Here after Losing to the chiefs. This is a safe space. Bradberry Quez and Miles need our support. We will always have this and we are in good hands. Fly eagles fly
You guys look amazing this year, but if it's an Eagles vs. Bills Super Bowl, I will root for my team. But I will say this, if we do face each other in the Super Bowl, I will enjoy it, win or lose.
sith, nicksixer, 29 here also (gonna be 30 soon), longtime fan. I didn't shed a tear, until the trophy was walked onto the stage. This is the greatest feeling in the world as an Eagles fan.
I’m an Eagles fan and me and my dad have been diehards for life. He has loved the Eagles since he was born. He was at the game but I had to stay home the feeling of calling him after we won was complete joy. That moment I’ll never forget
i am a Detroit loins fan in this almost made me cry im so happy for the eagles i was cheering for the eagles even back then in 04 when yall lost the first superbowl job well done eagles you are world champions
kyree williams it was Pass Interference in 04’ in that INT. If that was called, eagles kick a field goal, or maybe try to score a TD and it goes into OT or they win.
