Great song. Great band. Yes I also hear influences of The Cure and The Clash as well as My Bloody Valentine. But there also seems to be influence from Mogwai, Built To Spill, Squirrel Bait, Sonic Youth, The Smiths.

It's like Iceage and MBV had a baby. An awesome baby.

I hear strong elements of The Cure in their music.

I can hear Killing Joke, Joy Division, Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, Jesus & Mary Chain, Theatre of Hate, The Cure and many other of the great Post-Punk, Goth, Shoegaze bands.

Heard this on college radio, until the singer came In I almost thought this was a cut from the new Horrors album. Great sound

I agree with Wehav Explosiv, this song reminds me a lot of Red Lorry Yellow Lorry. I have not thought of them in years. We go back and listen to some of their songs. No coinadence both bands are from Leeds. I need to hear more for Eagulls, other songs sound like early Cure.
