That 37 mph DOWNHILL top speed run was cool BUT to be fair your should have done the same run coming back the exact same way UPHILL and getting the average of the 2 speeds. THAT would be a much more meaningful test. Very nice bike though.
i should have made it more clear in the video but the hill i couldn't make it up in the video is the same hill i went down. The best average is on the side of the main highway. 30mph average on slightly up and down is probably about right.
Careful on those shoulder rides. It's where tons of debris from cars end up and sharp objects are found on the shoulder of the roads and puncture tires.

im 330 lbs i did 40 miles small hills about 20mph rest of time i have 62% left so i figure 80 miles 70 is more like it you never want to go down to nothing with lithpolymer cells.. thats still far with a 190lb rider sure maybe 100 miles still lipos have a votage curve they dropp off at 3.5 volts and youll loose top end and loose that torqe so you really want to be heading home after 50% of your battery gone or less say 40% so you have 80 miles be home by 60 miles then you have 20% left thats 3.3 volts per cell trust me that lcd display dont tell you the truth.. use a voltmeter hooked in set to lith ion you can get one for 15 bucks and wire it into the battery end cap.. i did my lcd didnt budge so i got 62% my lcd says full still so i dont trust the thing
i agree the most lcd battery percentages are a rough guess. But still good to have an overall helpful. if you start at 100% i would turn around to go home around 55% or 60% to be safe. Worse case you run out and peddle for the last little bit though.
@@ManlyLife bingo.. for some reason at 62% my lcd isnt budging still says fully charged.. this is why i installed a volt meter volts never lie.. i have 40 miles now with my weight and i feel sorry for the little motor but it carries me along and im shocked it pulls almost 500 lbs like its nothing.. but the volt meter and you can get them for 15 bucks that go as high as 100 volts just wire it in make sure you can set it for lithions so the percent meter works you have to tell it bare min voltage so 3.2 volts up to 54.6 volts and it should show a pretty close representation of a fuel guage i just for the life of me should be seeing the stock lcd meter doing something
Might be good for flat land . But never cut it in New England . And as for stop and go , you never stoped at any stop sign . 300 pds. ? Wow no thanks .
I didn't show much of the stops i did bit true i should have included those in the video. Lots of steep hills then yes it's not best for that. Most places it will work awesome though
Works fine in New England when its running. I live in NH. Plenty of hills. Pedal assist is great.....when its working. Im on my 3rd throttle 3rd controller 2nd wiring harness..my brakes are total junk after 600 miles. Junk. Warped the rotor kinda junked. Careful 0f the cruise control....

And unless you are a bike mechanic and understand, electricity completely, and are ready to troubleshoot and work on your bicycle out of the box to try to make it run, I found the help that I got on the Internet to be completely useless on my bicycle, my bicycle for 300 miles has done nothing but shut off randomly all over the place. I May have finally found the problem with no help from these people. This is not a good manufacturer and they don’t stand behind the product , properly. The product support is extremely weak, they promise people things and then management backs off, and they don’t do it, stay away from this manufacturer, find a company that takes care of their customers.
